Great for our family of 5 - super well-located.

Felt like a home away from home. Many thanks to Steve and Tine for their thoughtfulness around Christmas with the Christmas tree, decorations and little goodies under the tree. Was appreciated!

Only thing we missed was a washing machine - laundromat in town so all good.

A great couple providing a really nicely parented property in a great location.

Location is fantastic for anything you want to do in Ypres/Leper or the surrounding area. Close to the city centre and 15 mins walk to the train.

Not a complaint at all because it’s common, but lots of stairs.

Nicely appointed apartment. Newly refurbished, and very light and airey. Quite a quirky and fun place to stay, and was ideal for our group of 5 friends visiting the area. Was exactly as expected.

Nothing major - just things to consider for your group. The double bed is in the central atrium of the upper floor (from which the twin room, shower, toilet, are accessed), and the extra 'cubby hole' beds are on an open mezzanine above that. Was not a problem for us, but something to consider if privacy is of concern. The 'free parking' is not on-site, but ~300m walk to a free public carpark. Very easy to get too - but don't expect a driveway outside.

Fraudulent owner who will take your money and send you to a cheaper accommodation and steal money from you!

Do not stay here! The owner is a fraud and will rip you off! We booked months in advance only to turn up and find another family staying the house. The owner lied and said that there was a water leak and that we need to stay at another location. There was another family staying here having a shower as he was saying this. He took us to an inferior property (2 bedrooms not 3 for a start). Owner lied and said that Nelly only has 2 bedrooms. Now trying to get some sort of refund through legal action!

Great location but a strange layout to the property

The set up is a bit weird as it’s NOT three separate rooms. The double bed is on a landing outside the twin room and the cabin beds on a higher landing overlooking the double. Not what we usually get in the UK. But it’s clean and airy and a brilliant location.

Layout of the sleeping areas. No parking at the actual property by there is free parking a short walk away. Also very steep stairs with no handrail one side.

Lovely location, great hosts.

The location was excellent, very quiet in the night, but a stones throw away to some really great bars and restaurants.

We didn't like the fact that the sleeping area was shared really. All rooms upstairs come off the main room with double bed. The place itself was furnished and decorated very well, however due to the layout upstairs I wouldn't stay for more than one night.

Highly recommend apartment Nelly for anyone staying in Ypres

The whole experience was excellent. Communication & flexibly from Steven our host, location 3 mins walk from the centre of Ypres, We arrived with 4 motorbikes. Parking is limited, but the neighbour cam out and said we could par 2 of the bikes on his front. On leaving day we asked if we could stay an extra hour and this was no problem

Excellent modern apartment less than 5 minutes walk from the Main square and Menen Gate . Restaraunts, and bars, abound in and around the main square adjacent to the Cloth Hall which has a superb museum dedicated to The First World War. Parking was available on the street adjacent to the apartment, which is in a quiet lane, and was free..

Disappointing, not as described.

This was an unpleasant and costly experience.

We chose this property as it had 3 bedrooms and open plan living space. However on arrival, we found only 1 bedroom, the other beds are on mezzanine levels affording no privacy at all. The upper platform is reached by a steep, narrow staircase and the beds are very small. We asked the host if we could cancel as the property was not as described and not suitable for us as mature travellers. The host agreed to consult with booking.com but when we submitted a cancellation request it was rejected.

Excellent place for a short stay

The location could not be better. Very quiet stay in the middle of the city. Parking nearby.

It was not totally clear to me that the double bed is in the open space in front of the toilet, bathroom and bedroom doors. The two other built in beds are on the mezzanine and therefore all these 4 sleeping places share the same space essentially - noise travels. The kitchen works quite well but I would have appreciated a few other things like a bathmat, a kitchen towel and some bigger soup bowls etc.

Wij hebben een goed en ontspannen verblijf gehad in Ieper. Het huis is heel bijzonder en hip ingericht, het geeft een ruimtelijk gevoel. Alles is aanwezig en het is schoon. Dichtbij het centrum en de markt, alles is op loopafstand. Speeltuin voor de kinderen in het park dichtbij.

Uitstekende locatie en zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, met adequate info via Whatsapp gedurende het verblijf. Ook de paaseitjes werden zeer gewaardeerd!

het tweepersoonsbed was aan de harde kant. Helaas was er geen schaar in het appartement. De doucheruimte was wat krap voor lange mensen zoals wij, maar verder prima hoor. Onze zoon klaagde dat hij wakker werd van het badkamerlicht, via het raam in de wand die zijn slaapkamer en de badkamer scheidde. Een gordijn oid zou wel fijn zijn.
