Our second stay here, so we must like it!

Very roomy place, particularly if there are only two of you. Very modern kitchen. Private parking. Easy walk (about 10 minutes) into Gross Markt.

The bathroom has a partially sloped roof (the property is a loft, after all) which restricts the size and ease of access to the hand-basin

Lovely loft apartment in great location

Great location, easy walk into Ypres. Private parking which is a huge bonus and one of the reasons I chose this apartment over others in the area. The apartment is very well presented, bright, airy and spacious; it has a lovely, well equipped, modern kitchen. Very comfortable beds, lovely outdoor seating area. Contact with host was good. We would definitely stay again.

Mosquito’s - it was very hot so we had opened the bedroom windows and unfortunately mosquitos came into both bedrooms. So bring repellent and/or a plug in, or keep the windows closed!!

Brilliant

It was exceptionally well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy and it was very clean. It is also in a good location to access Ypres on foot.

Perfect location 👍

Location was perfect, a short walk into the beautiful town of Ypres. The accommodation was great for our family, nicely laid out with a twin room for my boys & what felt like a super king size bed for my husband & I. The main bedroom has a large walk in wardrobe too. The car port beneath was perfect to keep our motorbikes safe & covered & if you bring a car that would not fit the car port you can easily leave it across the entrance to the car park as there is a ‘lay by’ outside so you are not parked in the road.

If you have young children beware that there is no balustrade at the top of the stairs ( it has a metal staircase) so there is a drop with no restraints but for older children it would not be an issue.

Good Location and parking available

No cutlery or anything to eat with. No coffee/milk - welcome pack for a hot drink. We couldn't eat food that we had brought with us, which was a bit disappointing.

Well located apartment with some issues

Well located for centre of Ypres. Lovely outdoor balcony area. Really funky apartment design, great living space with huge TV!

Bedrooms really hot (even though the weather wasn't particularly), very noisy throughout the night from street outside. No thought given to simple, basic welcoming items - no soap, spare toilet rolls or waste bin in bathroom , no coffee left in the kitchen, no iron or ironing board, etc. No safety rail at the top of the stairs - really dangerous for small children or anyone moving round in the night, e.g to use the bathroom.

zeer mooie; goed bereikbare locatie. Ruime woning met terras en parking voor de deur.

hygiëne badkamer en keuken. Oppervlakkig lijkt het ok maar er mag eens grondig gepoetst worden (filters dampkap waren echt niet ok, schimmelranden in de douche, afvoer wastafel liep heel slecht af, kookpannen waren niet goed schoon, radiatoren moeten eens dringend ontlucht zodat ze minder lawaai maken) Ik heb bij vertrek via een briefje en whatsapp de host geïnformeerd maar krijg er geen reactie op.

Leuk en ontspannend weekend gehad op een mooie locatie.

Heel mooie ingerichte loft, op een ideale ligging, niet ver van het centrum van Ieper. Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, mooi en ruim ingericht .

Enige minpuntje is dat de slaapkamer aan de straatkant ligt en het vanaf smoregens 5 uur wel lawaaieriger wordt ( ik heb altijd oordoppen bij dus geen last van gehad)

Prima loft op prima locatie.

Prima loft op een uitstekende locatie. Op loopafstand van het centrum van Ieper. Carport om je auto in te zetten. Grote tv om lekker een film te kijken in de avond. Alle faciliteiten in de keuken aanwezig, balkon om lekker te zitten bij mooi weer.

Twee 1-persoons bedden zijn een beetje verouderd en oncomfortabel. Grote bed slaapt prima. Huis is wat warm doordat het een loft is direct onder het dak. Hangt een airco maar die doet niet veel omdat hij te weinig vermogen heeft voor de grote ruimte. Slaapkamer hebben geen airco.

Mooi en fijn ingericht appartement met dakterras op prima locatie.

Dakterras was niet schoon. Ook verliep de communicatie met de contactpersoon niet vlekkeloos (er zijn nog twee vragen via de mail niet beantwoord).

Mooi verblijf op prima loopafstand van het centrum.

Het is een fantastische ruimte. De liftdeuren zijn origineel, alles mooi afgewerkt. Ik zou er zo willen wonen. Er mag wel iets meer kleur in de woning. Het is erg “steriel”.

Ik lees in andere recensies over de trap. Dat kan ik me wel voorstellen. Een hekje of een grote plantenbak als afscheiding, zou geen overbodige luxe zijn.

Zeker opnieuw te boeken

Het is een heel gezellig appartement, met de liftdeuren als extra speciale troef. Het appartement heeft een echt loftgevoel, en ligt op een kleine 10 minuten stappen van het centrum en de Menenpoort. Een ander extra pluspunt was de carport om de auto te parkeren.

We hebben een beetje gesukkeld met de tv. Maar dat kan ook aan ons liggen, aangezien wij niet echt gewoon zijn om met die verschillende apps op tv te werken :)
