Very clean, tidy and modern spacious apartment with air conditioning and well equipped kitchen, very good shower. Also a small rear terrace for smoking. Space for a bicycle in the front hall (perhaps two at a stretch). There is a cafe opposite the flat which can be a little bit noisy at night, but the bedroom is at the back of the building where it is quiet. The location is right off the main square.

I was told I would be given instructions for entry on the day of my arrival, but by the time I arrived in the afternoon I had not received any communication so I had to telephone the host, who did not answer his phone. But he then appeared from the hairdressing salon on the ground floor (where he appeared to be the proprietor) to give me the key. It would have been nice to know this in advance or to be given a key code just in case I had been unable to telephone or if he had gone out etc.

The induction cooktop didn’t work. Or couldn’t get it to work, instructions would be good?

Couldn't work the coffee machine but that could have been me not knowing how to use it

Location was excellent and property was clean. Quiet bedroom. Owner easy to contact by phone, but email entry instructions only arrived at least 1 day after check in. Free parking at Minneplein was convenient in March, but beware 2hr parking limit on unmarked 'blue zone' streets.

Microwave and oven not working. TV's have no input signal/cables, so I couldn't get any picture. Bathroom heating not working. Front door open 24-7 giving safety/security concerns. Constant smell of stale smoke in stairway. Lighting dreadful except in bathroom (see photo of kitchen and living room). No dining knives, but lots of forks and spoons. Living room of no practical use due to layout, lighting and non working TV. Some of these problems previously mentioned in other reviews but apparently no action.
