John Knox's Apartment on Edinburgh's Royal Mile

Perfectly located with a very short walk up from Edinburgh Waverley Station that is almost flat (slight elevation gain) but no steep inclines or long stair steps. The flat was beautifully finished, had everything we needed for amenities. Highly recommend.

La ubicación sobre la calle principal, con buenas vistas, la comodidad del apartamento que contaba con 1 baño y un toilete, todo en condiciones, con detalladas indicaciones y sugerencias dejadas por el anfitrión.

Está en un segundo piso sin ascensor, lo cual estaba especificado, teniendo en cuenta que se encuentra sobre la Royal Mile, los pisos de estos edificios son más altos que los modernos, para nosotros que viajabamos con valijas chicas no fue tan problemático.

Absolutely amazing position - right in the middle of the Royal Mile. I doubt there is a better position as only 300 metres from Station. Great kitchen and large living space. Overall good.

The stairs are very steep. Definitely not for somebody with knee issues. Second bedroom is very small with double bed hard up against the wall. Ok for a night or two. Advertised as two bathrooms but the second ‘bathroom’ is just a WC with a hand basin as part of the cistern. Not ideal for two couples. The beds aren’t great. We were all of the opinion that for position (and price) some of the finer touches were missing.
