I liked the fact that it was self catering and you could get some shopping and make it yourself as well as how accessible it was to get to everything you needed to use - the location was also excellent and right on the Barbican which is so accessible and so easy to get to everything as well.

I liked everything about this place - there’s nothing that I didn’t like about it.

Location restaurants, takeaways, pubs, on doorstep. Tourist attractions not far away. City centre 10 minute stroll. Kitchen well equipped, only used microwave and kettle as ate out. The front room was large, decor a little tired. Could people watch in street below, was noisy in day, occasionally at night, but you are in central busy location. Bedroom was at back, quiet, bed comfy good night's sleep. Linen and towels clean and decent quality.

Unfortunately although the electric shower had decent t power and a constant temp. the mould on the grout lines of the bath ( in corner) was bad. Easy fix too.. We knew we'd have to use central stairway to transit to bedroom and kitchen and bath. Each of 3 doors had a high security lock on them. A further high security lock at street level too. Felt safe, only saw 1 couple from the flats above all week. Just a pain to go out and in to each separate room. Listed building nothing can be done to improve situation.. Windows single glazed, warm enough in Sept. in winter the main room has 2 radiators, bedroom 1.
