Nice little apartment but expensive

Relaxing short stay on the outskirts of Salzburg

Close to the city - easy access to buses. Could also walk. Quiet area with a local supermarket.

The kitchen could have included a chopping board and oven glove to help with cooking. TV did not work.

We enjoyed Salzburg but the description of the apartment is very misleading.

The property had private parking. The owners mother lives in the building and was very helpful.

No plug sockets near beds False information about apartment: it says bedroom 1 has 1 extra large double bed and 1 double bed. It doesn’t, it only has 1 extra large double bed, plus it’s not a bedroom, it’s actually part of the living room that is shared with the dining, kitchen and sofa bed. So if someone is using the sofa bed , they are actually sharing the same room as whoever is using the bed in the living room. The only actual bedroom has a sliding door and contains 1 small double bed. The mattresses are particularly hard too. Our adult son ended up sleeping on the shower room floor to get some sleep, as we were under the impression from the description that there were 2 separate bedrooms and a sofa bed. Not ideal when you have paid good money for a holiday to be on a hard shower room floor instead of a bed. The toilet is in a separate minute room from the shower room and doesn’t have a washbasin, so to wash your hands after using the toilet you have to come out and go into the shower room. The apartment is in need of repair, there are a lot of chips and peeling paint. It is very makeshift and has been cheaply done. The shower room is particularly bad. It has a very small TV in the one multifunctional room .

Charming apartment with good location and nice view.

The location was good, near major bus lines, restaurants, and grocery. It was clean and quiet. The beds were quite comfortable. It had a nice view. We were able to walk to and from the Hohensalzburg Fortress, but we rode the funicular to the top. The hostess provided bus passes for our party of 4, which was a nice surprise.

Only minor issues. Few outlets near the beds. The toilet room is a bit small. Not an issue for us, but it is on top floor with access by stairs only. Oh and Saturday morning the church bells rang at 7am across the street. But it was okay, because we wanted to get up despite our jet-lag.

Overall we liked our stay

Nice cozy loft 5 minutes by car to the center!

I found the mattress very hard, so I would add an additional layer (extra mattress) 8-10 cm of memory foam to make it softer on both beds! The toilet with the shower are in different rooms. The washbasin is in the shower. So I suggest an installation of a washbasin in the room with the toilet. So someone can wash hands before going out..

Soggiorno perfetto in appartamento moderno e centrale!

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questo appartamento e l’esperienza è stata davvero ottima. L’alloggio è molto spazioso e confortevole, arredato con gusto e design moderno: ci ha colpito fin da subito. La cucina era ben attrezzata, con tutto l’occorrente (pentole, padelle, piatti, bicchieri e posate), tutto perfettamente pulito. Un dettaglio che abbiamo molto apprezzato è stata la cortesia dell’host, che, sapendo che venivamo dall’Italia, ha pensato di lasciarci anche uno scolapasta — e lo abbiamo usato con piacere! Molto comoda anche la disposizione del bagno, con il WC separato dall’ambiente con doccia e lavandino. La zona living è luminosa e accogliente, con una TV dotata di tutte le principali piattaforme di streaming e un WiFi gratuito e veloce. Un altro punto a favore è sicuramente il prezzo: abbiamo prenotato solo due giorni prima e abbiamo speso meno di 50€ a notte per 3 persone, davvero competitivo per quello che offre. Anche la posizione è ottima: centrale e ben collegata con i mezzi pubblici. Consigliamo di fare la Salzburg Card, molto comoda per spostarsi e visitare i musei. Recht ruhige Lage, ca. 20min Fußweg zur Altstadt / Bussanbindung ebenfalls vorhanden Kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeit direkt im Hof Einkaufsmöglichkeit ca. 500m entfernt netter Empfang durch Familienmitglied der Besitzerin WC separat vom Bad ist schön, allerdings ohne Waschbecken, sodass man dennoch zusätzlich ins Bad gehen muss

Küchenausstattung sehr gering, zum Kochen kaum geeignet ausgeschriebene Kosmetikartikel nicht vorhanden Tischlampen funktionierten nicht / Deckenlicht flackerte Abfluss im Bad hat unangenehm gerochen
