Host is a con artist. Be warned!
Location was OK, the lodge itself is nice and spacious.
The host is a con artist who surprised us with a £95 fee for the hot tub which isn't mentioned in the listing. Also they've taken a security deposit and aren't responding when I'm asking for it back. I would also say they are very rude in messages and pretend to have a management company so they can blame them for the bad service.

Cosy lodge in a great setting.
Lilac lodge is very cosy and in a great setting. The children loved the big garden, and the games provided were a great addition. The hot tub was private and clean. Master bedroom was larger than expected. The bed was comfy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals. Host was very responsive when we needed to ask a question. Lovely lodge would definitely recommend for families.
Some areas could of been a bit cleaner in the lounge. A welcome pack would of been handy for things like recycling. No WiFi. For the price I feel the hot tub should be included and not an extra charge.
