Atha Tree House

Our stay here was an incredible experience and a true immersion in the Sri Lankan jungle. Even though we later realised that we were not actually as isolated as it felt, the sensation of being completely surrounded by nature and away from everything was amazing. The cabin is beautiful and has a very special atmosphere. Of course, you have to keep in mind that you are staying in the middle of the jungle, but for us that was exactly what made the experience so unique. The food was absolutely spectacular. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, honestly some of the best food we have had during our entire trip in Sri Lanka. The owner and his family were wonderful, warm and welcoming. The owner was extremely attentive to everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, it was a very special and memorable experience and we are really happy that we chose to stay here.

Det er en hytte i træerne! Vi synes det var en super oplevelse. Man høre mange lyde og der er dyr tæt på. Vi havde en hel flok aber der passerede forbi og på hytterne. Det er på ingen måde luksus, men det er en fantastisk oplevelse.

If you want a unique, this is unique! You will see wild and you will experience raw nature. The peace and the rhythm of the jungle puts you in the incredible state of awe, and the jungle serenades with the sounds of wild. Tasty and sizable breakfast completes the experience. Final note the Sasiya is the most wonderful and helpful host. This is a must, unique experience!

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur und die Geräusche der Natur zu hören unglaublich entspannend. Ansonsten ist es eben ein Tree House, Luxus darf man dort nicht erwarten, aber das macht es auch irgendwie aus. Der Besitzer ist sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt so toll wie möglich zu gestalten, leider wirkt er teilweise gestresst, weswegen wir die Schönheit der Umgebung nicht komplett genießen konnten.
