8QR Rooms

Rooms were very nice decor wise, bed comfy, extra coffee etc and bottled water available on landing which was handy. Parking available on site. Good location.

The doors to the toilet and shower rooms really heavy. Water took a while to heat up ( though it did warm this). No towel change when staying for 3 days. Would have been nice to have a decaf option or herbal tea like mint or camomile.

Location and quality of the room

Too many doors with self closure. Leaking tap in bathroom

Gorgeous building. The room was so beautiful and unique- well furnished and the bed was probably the most comfortable bed ever! The room was huge and it was just a nice place to stay for the night. Parking was easy! Water, tea and biscuits available!

Only downside was construction happening in the house or the house next door that was a little loud in the morning.

The room generally is very descent and located in a nice building, if it was only the room and not the bathroom I would give it a 9.

Our room had the strangest bathroom I have seen in my life! Not convenient at all having separately the sink, the toilet and the shower(actually two showers 😵‍💫), i thought I was in a restaurant somehow, not in a hospitable room. Another disadvantage is the luck of a fridge, at least a small one would be an asset for the room. Furthermore, we couldn’t lock the door, so we felt a bit unsafe despite the fact that the owner/manager confirmed us that the door cannot open from outside and he was right about that, but for sure you should be able to lock the room in order to feel safe and relaxed.
