Casa Castello - 20 min by train to Florence

This is a very authentic apartment in a great location. It has shutters on the windows and wooden beams on the ceiling – very charming and interesting. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped with everything you need (fridge with freezer, washing machine, etc.). In the living room, there’s a sofa that can be converted into a bed for sleeping. The host is always available. Upon check‑in, I found that the Wi‑Fi wasn’t working, but the host fixed it within an hour. He was always responsive. The apartment is situated so that you can easily walk to the most interesting places in the city, and public transport is also nearby.

However, keep in mind that there is no air conditioning in the apartment. We arrived in Prato during a peak heatwave, and it was quite uncomfortable without it. Thankfully, there was a fan that helped a little. Also, if you’re sleeping in the living room, it may be hard to fall asleep because the windows face directly onto a road with car traffic. Even with the windows closed, it’s noisy – but in the heat, you won’t want to keep them shut.

Non c'è una pentola decente,. Phon guasto (e pericoloso!). Pulizia scarsa. Check-in con compilazione modulo online piuttosto complicato.
