Spacious apartment with easy parking and good train connection

Very spacious apartment on the top (3rd) floor. Comfortable beds, good black out shutters in all rooms, easy parking right in front of the building, no noise nuance from the street even on market days (Mondays). Prato is a good base for exploring Tuscany in easy day trips by car, with a frequent, fast and cheap train connection to the center of Florence at less than 10 mins walking distance from the house. The owner was fast to respond and offered lots of information. Supermarket within walking distance.

While there was no noise nuisance from the street, we did experience some from the neighbours. The dining area has no see-through windows and more generally the apartment lacks some warmth. No comfy chairs in the living room.

Excellent apartment close to the city centre

Very large spacious apartment a few minutes walk from the centre of Prato. Comfy living room area and two balconies at either side of the property - the front with views of the beautiful hills surrounding the city. Nice quiet area at night and very comfortable beds. I would happily stay here again for a return visit to Prato.

The only downside was we were provided with a single set of keys which given we were three colleagues in the city for a conference, required a bit of coordination.

Exceptional

Our group of 5 truly enjoyed staying at Casa del Sole, a large apartment, sparkly clean, equipped with everything you might need even for a long stay, very cozy and also providing a wonderful view. It's located very coveniently in a quiet neighborhood, 7 minutes by foot to the train station, 10 minutes to city center, nice pasticceria 150 m away, close to supermarkets and bars and restaurants, pleasant walk to and along the river. There's a huge parking in front of the building (just be careful not to park there on Mondays because of the fair), the apartment is on the 3rd floor, but you have elevator, no a/c but it was ok for us in the first days of June. Lots of thanks to Mauro, the owner, he was amazing with all the recommendations and interest in making us get the most of our tourist experience, permanently staying in touch with us and honestly he was the best host we've had in years and we travel a lot! We loved Prato and easily reached Firenze, Bologna, Pisa and all the Tuscan area is great! We were happy with our choice and highly recommend it!

The space was as described. We were not happy with the communication.

The house was large enough for 4 adult family members.

The owner was not easy to contact and his instructions were not clear. There was a Monday morning market day and we were not able to get back into the complex after taking my niece to the airport because the gate was blocked. It took 45 minutes to find street parking. Upon return, we contacted the host and then rmoved our car back into the complex through the one way back gate so that we would not be ticketed, We loaded the car, exited the complex, and then had to return the gate key to the upstairs apartment, where the house cleaner was promptly awaiting our 10 am sharp checkout. Additionally, the single beds were short for an adult.

A wonderful accommodation

The location is on the 3rd floor but there is an elevator. The apartment is well equipped and clean. The communication with the owner was very good and he always tried to help us. We arrived by car in front of the building where the apartment is and the owner was waiting for us according to the agreement. There are parking spaces in front of the building, but there is a public parking lot across the street. Unfortunately, I don't know how much it costs. The train station from where you can take the train is a maximum of 5 minutes from the apartment. For example, for Florence, the price is 2.7 Eur per person on a sense..

Great location with secure off street parking behind a security gate. Warm apartment as we visited in winter this was really appreciated! Some nice cafes near by. Super helpful owner with tips and handy advice

Exceptional

The flat was much larger than we expected and extreemly well equipped . There is a short walk to the small station ( 5 minutes ) from which there are frequent trains to the centre of Florence for 2.70 eur . On Mondays there is a large market which is fun to visit and the centre of Prato is about 10 minutes walk away . There is a supermarket nearby and its also close to the river which has a great path for running / walking .

We had to leave, no air conditioning so too hot!

Very nice host Very clean apartment Good location

It was impossible to stay there. We paid fir 3 nights but stayed only one after we realized we cannot sleep. It’s just impossible to rent an apartment in Italy during the summer without air conditioning. The next day we were all too tired to even visit places. On top of this the apartment is close to a restaurant that had very loud music and very loud customers. When they left the restaurant 2 am in the morning they were yelling and singing and made loud noise with their scooters (races). It can be a good place to stay in the other seasons but not in the summer. We got a reimbursement for 1 night out of 2 that we didn’t spend there, but only the amount paid to the owner so the taxes booking took were lost…and it was not a small amount.

Un séjour absolument parfait à Prato ! Le logement est spacieux, d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien équipé. Mention spéciale pour la literie qui est vraiment impeccable, on y dort divinement bien. Le propriétaire est d'une grande gentillesse, très disponible et réactif. Spazioso, confortevole e molto pulito

Appartamento molto grande e accogliente. Super pulito. Abbastanza vicino al centro, ci si arriva a piedi. Grande parcheggio davanti (€1.50 per 24 ore).

Suggerimenti: cambiare materasso del letto matrimoniale, un po’ usato e quindi si sfonda un po’ nei punti di maggior carico. Ho dormito cmq bene. metterei un’altra poltrona comoda in sala.

Grosszügige Stadtwohnung an attraktiver Lage

Sehr grosse, gut ausgestattete Wohnung in ruhigem Quartier, sehr nahe zum Bahnhof (Zug nach Firenze), nahe der Altstadt von Prato. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe. Sicherer Parkplatz an der Unterkunft hinter Eisentor. Prato ist eine gute Ausgangsbasis für viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Toskana.

Die Matratze im Doppelbett ist etwas durchgelegen und sollte gelegentlich ersetzt werden. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

Nos hospedamos do 12 a 15/08/25 na Casa Del Sole.O apartamento fica em uma área super tranquila,isenta de barulhos, tem um estacionamento em frente ao prédio e bem próximo a estação de trem. O apartamento é super arejado,espaçoso e encontramos todos os equipamentos que precisávamos, inclusive uma máquina de lavar. O apartamento é bem decorado,camas super limpas, banheiros limpos,tudo muito organizado. Tem um ótimo supermercado bem próximo e que facilitou as compras para esses dias. Lidia nos recebeu muito bem,um amor de pessoa. A única ressalva é que fomos no auge do calor europeu e sofremos um pouco com a alta temperatura,pois o apartamento não tem ar condicionado. Mas,nada que pudesse prejudicar nossa estadia.

De ligging is prachtig. Alles is op loopafstand bereikbaar. Met de trein ben je zo in Florence. Het appartement is ruim en alles is aanwezig. Alles is mooi schoon.

Lage sehr gut, in fußläufiger Distanz zum Bahnhof. Fahrt nach Florenz in 20min für 3 Euro. Viel Platz in der Wohnung, Parkplatz innerhalb des Geländes.

Geschirr teilweise nicht sauber. Rost des Doppelbetts teilweise kaputt.

Ottima la casa e i suoi servizi.

Appartamento molto pulito e con ogni confort. Il padrone di casa ci ha aperto e mostrato ogni dettaglio. Tre camere spaziose con letti comodi, bagno ampio e pulito, cucina e sala da pranzo adatte per preparare ogni pasto. Stoviglie pulite. Il soggiorno è largo con divano, puff e tv multimediale. La zona è molto vicina al centro e c'è tantissimo spazio per posteggiare (a pagamento: 1,5 euro al giorno). Insomma, molto soddisfatto.
