Quiet location, easy access to town, comfortable beds, free in street parking, well equipped kitchen, private secure rear garden
Hot water was a little temperamental, but shower was electric so not that much of an issue.

Struggled with the shower going from unbearably hot to freezing, however wasn't sure if this was user error.

The location was good, very close to the town centre
The property was advertised as a cosy cottage with a log burner, but no logs or kindling were provided. We arrived after the stated 4pm check-in time to find the cottage cold and unable to light a fire, which was disappointing.
There were also several issues with cleanliness and basic amenities. Many of the plates were chipped, there was only one cereal bowl available, and the side of the fridge door was noticeably dirty.
The layout was another concern. The bathroom is located downstairs, which would be less of an issue if the stairs felt safe, but unfortunately, they seemed quite hazardous and could easily lead to an accident.
Overall, the stay did not meet expectations based on the listing.
