A pleasant stay in the Lake District.

The house was very clean and had a lot of facilities. Easy to find and very close to the town centre. Also it was easy to access the lower part of the Lake District from this location.

Lack of welcome pack which others had mentioned in their reviews. The house is situated near a working garage and occasionally we were disturbed by early morning noise. The TV in the lounge was a bit temperamental and we also found the seating in the lounge to be very low. There was no guide to the facilities of the house which would have been useful. The floorboards upstairs are very creaky which disturbed people trying to sleep on the first floor.

A beautiful home from home!

We had a fantastic stay here, the decor and furnishing of the house has been done to a high standard. The beds were comfy, the two king sized rooms were extremely spacious, the two teenagers in our family were very impressed!! Location was fantastic, 10 minute walk into the very centre of Ulverston. 15 minutes drive from Lake Windermere! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all. The welcome basket with biscuits, milk etc in was a lovely gesture too. Parking was very easy outside the property. A wonderful place to stay!

A marvelous, beautiful and cosy home in Ulverston.

Thank you ever so much for a marvelous and beautiful time at the most cosy Eagle Cottage! Everything was clean, well equipped and at a very high standard. We did enjoy the coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh milk and biscuit supply.

Immaculate presentation Nice, modern decor Easy access/entry Nearby parking Well equipped kitchen Very comfortable beds Very clean Great location - we stayed for a wedding nearby but spent the night before in town - walking distance to a range of different pubs, restaurants and bars! 😆 I was with my husband and some friends but considering booking again for a stay with my friends later in the year!

Close to ulverston town centre & the lakedistrict

Loved everything about it. Left us milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and a welcome pack. Everything was lovely and tidy with plenty of clean towels.

Excellent for a weekend with friends and family. Excellent location for the vintage bike race.

Layout of the property. It was clean ,bright and well appointed. It was close to the town centre and handy for the vintage cycle race being held. Ulverston is an interesting town and close to a beautiful coastline as well as the Lakes.

It was close to the road and there was traffic noise until quite late. The position was unusual - but felt safe.

Absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was absolutely stunning and very well maintained. The layout was perfect and cosy. We were looked after very well and would definitely recommend Eagles Cottage for a family stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The christmas tree was an extra surprise as were the chocolate gifts.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property. Everything was perfect.

Great, even if the location a little odd

Large rooms, well kitted out

Location, whilst good for access to the town and main road to get up to the Lake District was next to a very busy main road and a working garage / industrial unit which became very busy with contractors in vans at around 7/8am on the weekday mornings

we had a good three nights but due to location and price would not return.

quality build in very good order.

location at the end of a housing estate next to industrial units. low lounge seating used kitchen chairs to sit on. No usable outside area.

Exceptional

The property was exceptional, the furniture, the kitchen, the attention to details down to providing board games and tvs in the rooms. It was much better than expected. Also the host Diane was very friendly and supportive. I would rate this 10 out of 10.

Nothings except that we were unlikely to arrive when the weather was hotter than usual and there was only one fan. I'm sure most of the year this wouldn't be necessary

We had a great time and throughly enjoyed our stay.

Cottage decor was absolutely gorgeous everything inside was spotless.

The location was not the best however a small garden area to the back would have been nice.

Superb

Eagles cottage is well apportioned ,smart , warm and welcoming property. An ideal space to enjoy time with the family and room to move about and have our own space if wanted. The extra touches to detail were appreciated.

House was stunning and all the little extra's, coffee (3 different types), choice of teas and even the choice of family games was exceptional. The location is somewhat a little strange, next to a commercial plumbing/roofing business, but it really didn't impact on us for the weekend. Its location to the center of Ulverston is great, just a short 2 minute walk away. A cracking little property!

Excellent host and property

Host was excellent with replying to emails, met us at the property to show us round and show us how to use everything. Property is immaculate with 3 decent sized double bedrooms, Lounge area was very comfortable too.

It was just missing a garden area.
