Loved the quirkiness of the apartment. Also the location is great

The only quibble was that as I suffer from a bad back the sofa wasn't ideal. But this is purely a personal thing

Good location and value for money, a couple things could have been better

It was a good location within ulverstone, with everywhere a walkable distance

In the room on the top floor there was no blinds on the skylight or the window, meaning we got woken up early due to the sunlight coming in.

5 minutes walk into town

The layout of the living room could be slightly better for watching the tv. We didn’t spend much time in but if we had it would have been an issue

Disappointed 😞

Location excellent

TV in living room didn't work. Finally found the aerial wasn't plugged in but was so short had to have the tv against the wall so it was difficult to see. The TV upstairs had no aerial whatsoever so it didn't work. In the kitchen a leak under the sink which stank. Had to clean it and bleach it. Everything needs updating.

Off road parking, great as we transported vintage bikes. It’s roomy with separate bedrooms & exactly what we need for our weekend at the Velo Retro.

Perfect location but needs repair and attention!!!

Location and amount of beds we needed for our family

No waste bins were provided in the bathrooms or bedrooms despite notes saying don’t use toilets use bins provided. Oven had no way of knowing what was what all dials were faded and gone so couldn’t use grill. Smoke alarm was broken and in two pieces. Coffee machine or cafetière was not there as it said when I booked. Top bedroom had no blinds or curtains and big gap in the window with a severe draft. No wardrobe space or drawers only in one room. Doors didn’t shut properly and bathroom lock didn’t work. Double mattress needs updating could feel the springs. In bad need of general repair and attention, Shame because it was perfectly located and if better would have used again when visiting family.

Nothing it was disgusting and dirty and not safe

This is the worse accommodation I have ever stayed at the place was dirty it smelt musty. It hadn't been cleaned after previous guest. Bathroom was disgusting with wee around seat and poo in the toilet. Toothpaste in the sink. No key for kids bedroom with wide window that was very unsafe owners said last guests had lost it. Sent owners pictures they apologised about the dirt said they were sending cleaners in then 3 hours later they weren't and we had to wait until the next day as there were riots going on in Lancaster. ( no relevance to the lakes) offered me £50 for the evening to go get a, hotel until they made the property clean and suitable which is shocking as u can't get a, hotel for that price we left early poor owners do not recommend

Great house but terrible beds

The house was great. Very clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. The facilities were great apart from the beds. The loft room was very spacious and great to have an en suite. The shower in the en suite was great. Whenever I contacted Grace she was very quick to reply and sort out any issues.

The beds are very uncomfortable The mattresses are like sleeping on a bag of bones and desperately need replacing. The springs dig into you, which is really uncomfortable. Looking at the reviews, this has been raised by others, but obviously nothing has changed, which is a shame.

Golfing weekend in Ulverstone with friends

easy check into to a great centrally located house with parking. Very clean and tidy, good shower and facilities. Generally a very nice house, tastefully decorated, with all that was needed for a short stay.

Great stay in great location, beds just need updating

Excellent location. Close to town centre but still fairly quiet. Onsite parking a real bonus. House was really clean and comfortable with everything you needed for a long or short stay (we only stayed one night). Spacious and well laid out and the pictures do not do it justice. The top room in particular is a great space.

The beds. Mattresses and beds are in definite need of updating to fulfil this properties potential . The bedding and towels were clean but we felt they had seen better days. Doormat needed at front door for wet weather. Bathrooms were tired but functional and clean. Suggest some milk to be left even if it's long life.

Location is great and private parking is good

Having stayed at No 5 Laurel court last year, we were disappointed at the level of cleanliness at No 2. Looks ok on the face of it, but on closer inspection showers are very grimy. These properties are in need of some refurbishment and some TLC as they are starting to look shabby.

Overall this was a great poperty, i would definitely stay again.

Lovely area, Ulverston is great! The apartment is very modern and has great facilities. The shower had fantastic water pressure.

Not all the beds were comfortable. As we were only 3 people, we were able to find enough beds that were comfortable enough for all to get a decent night sleep. If there were more people in our group it may have been more difficult. Documentation was out of date (firestick was not present). Needs a blind on top room skylight.

Nice quiet street but close to the centre. Off street parking at the rear, en suite in the huge top bedroom was ideal. Lady who greeted us was very helpful and flexible.

Nothing, it was ideal for our party of cycle enthusiasts, visiting the Velo Retro event.

I searched for free parking. This was essential. But the car park was full and I had to find parking elsewhere. Could I suggest a parking token/card for each of the 5 properties as there's parking for 5 cars. So there would be a guaranteed parking space for each cottage

A lovely place to stay.

A lovely base to explore the area. The property has everything you need, was nice and clean and very comfortable. If anything the description doesn't do it justice, there is a downstairs toilet and an attic shower room not mentioned. Well worth a visit.

The tiling in the main bathroom needs some attention, but only a minor point and didn't effect the stay at all. .

Nice and what we needed

the location was good for what we needed. the kitchen had plenty of appliances etc.

there was a couple of maintenance issues that needed sorted and having to strip beds ourselves in the morning when we were only away for one day didn’t seem like we were able to relax. also the parking at the back was full when we got there so I ended up having to pay for parking aswell at the last minute

It needs some tlc. Tv picture awful. Tiles missing. Blinds needed. Mattresses need renewing. All have been mentioned in other reviews. Could be so much better
