Comfortable cottage in central location

Location was great, central to Ulverston. Property was well equipped and comfortable. Very reasonable price for the quality and location of accommodation. Our dog was relaxed and happy from arrival.

Not a big deal for us as we were out and about but sofa could do with updating.

Lovely location for a short stay

Location is fantastic, the house was lovely and clean. Beds are comfortable. Heating very efficient.

On the hole very enjoyable. The property could do with a bit of work to improve it but it had what we needed.

It was clean and looked very smart on initially entering. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was great. Lounge was as comfortable too.

We didn’t use the shower after the first use as there was a leak down to the utility room. En suite bathroom needs some work doing to replace the shower and the leak into utility downstairs needs sorting. The hoover provided was also not very good at all.

The location. The parking. Quiet.

Couple of miner faults. Ceiling light broken in kitchen Utility room had stains down the wall. Bolt missing of the shower door. Just incase you don't know.

No secure garden for dogs to roam. Also needed some maintenance, but everything did work fine.

We found the accommodation very pleasing, kitchen was well equipped, would recommend to friends

Perhaps a smaller dining table , found it very difficult to sit 3 people around it ,, and difficulty setting the tv up .. I think there should be a visible fire extinguisher, or fire blanket , I was worried there was no back entrance for any emergency

Visiting Lakes with sister from New Zealand

Close to town with all shops ,bars and restaurants Spacious and fairly comfortable

Needed some updating ,lack of crockery,kitchen utensils and no wine glasses. Bathrooms not very clean and no waste bins provided. Mattress protectors stained.

The location, the facilities were generally good although the oven didn’t work which was a bit of a problem as we’d brought dinner to cook the first night

nice for a one night stay

great little property with an open space

the front door was hard to unlock , once inside it was even harder to unlock ( took 10 mins) which was very concerning as this was the first exit. the beds were very uncomfortable, the 2 singles had springs coming through. also no parking as pictured. it was full of cars one car being right under the window to the property?! so we really struggled to unload the car

Location was very good right in the town.easy access to all amenities. car parking at the property. everything you needed was provided at the property.

Good location an spacious accommodation.

Our stay at this accommodation was enjoyable, largely due to its wonderful central location. It's ideally situated for exploring both the Lake District and Ulverston, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Additionally, the spacious cottage came equipped with many conveniences.

While the location and amenities were impressive, it was noticeable that the accommodation needs maintenance. There was also a distinct, unpleasant odor, and it generally did not appear as clean as we would have expected. A bit of attention to these aspects could significantly enhance the experience for future guests.

Very nearly perfect and very good value. But some minor niggles

The property was very modern and well-equipped. It was very clean on arrival and we found the instructions for using everything clear and easy,

My only complaint and the thing that stops me giving the property a 10 was one of the beds (which I slept in - or tried to). I sat on it and it collapsed! The bed had wooden slats and they were not capable of supporting a grown man. I noted that the bed frame was pink and was left wondering whether this was intended to be a child's bed? I had to sleep downstairs on the floor, using cushions from the Sofa, One other cottage was let to contractors who filled the yard with work vehicles. They were polite and moved vehicles when asked, but it wasn't what I expected. They also were up very early in the morning and were a little noisy.

Excellent location and high standard

The accommodation was a little tricky for us to find at first. But once we got there, we were very happy with the space and facilities. It was so easy to just walk out to everything, that we could go back and forth as needed. Would stay here again, and recommend.

The host was still upgrading the property when we got there. So 1st night the 2 single beds were very uncomfortable. But these were changed the 2nd day to very comfortable replacements. So only a temporary issue. Also, as there were 4 adults in the property, it was great to have 3 toilets. But a shame only 1 shower, as we had to form a queue with one bathroom only having a bath.

4 Laurel Court, Ulverston Overnight Stay

Close to centre of town. Quiet location. Lovely having bathroom and ensuite shower room. Access to viewing apps through fire stick. Overall a great place to stay. Ulverston is a lovely town.

Some maintenance required. Dining table chairs are wobbly and microwave door damaged. Fridge light not working. Did not like that the smokers bucket at front door hadn't been emptied.

5 minute walk into town, not on a main road. everything you needed was in the there except for hand towels.

the two single beds were not very comfortable maybe invest in some better beds.

Lovely house for a couple of nights away.

Very clean, tidy house. Very spacious for a 2 bedroom house. Location to local shops, restaurants was fantastic. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Both the bathroom and ensuite are very spacious with a lovely bath and shower. Host had put a good amount of tea/coffee in the cupboards for our arrival. Highchair was there so didn't have to take our own.

Beds didn't feel that comfortable (personal opinion as i prefer a harder mattress for my back).

Great house

Surprisingly better than expected, well stocked so didn't need to take anything with us. The main bedroom the bed was very comfy.

The 2nd bedroom the report is the beds are terrible and not alot of sleep had by the occupants, very uncomfortable and slates missing. Very flimsy mattresses

Great place to stay for a long weekend or longer. Would definatetly recommend.

Great location. Very well equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms had there own bathroom with main being en-suite.

Struggle to find anything wrong. Maybe only thing I would say is to take your own bath towels as ones provided only small but no real issue.
