Providing luxurious self-catering for two guests, it is perfect for those who enjoy walking with access on foot from the cottage onto The 'Cumbrian Way' and a wealth of fantastic walks available locally in the surrounding area.

Methera Cottage is all on the one level and well proportioned, providing a cosy, special retreat for a romantic, countryside escape. It is a comfortable, luxurious cottage, which has been decorated and furnished to a high standard.
Accommodation comprises: The Double bedroom is stylish with dual aspect windows which let the light flood in, and an exceptionally comfy bed, oodles of wardrobe space and vanity area.
Small modern shower room with WC and wash basin.
Main room which is a cosy open-plan living, dining space, leading into the open plan kitchen area. You immediately feel at home; Curl up on the comfy sofa after you have enjoyed supper with a glass of wine and watch your favourite movie or box set (via the smart tv - bring your log in details).
Stylish modern kitchen off the lounge which is very well equipped and beautifully presented with integrated dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and electric oven/hob.
Dogs are welcome at £15 charge (per dog, per stay)

We loved every minute in this beautifully outfitted cottage. Warm and light and surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Lake District.

Place was stunning and so clean. We enjoyed our stay and we definitely will be coming back some day. As I have back problems the bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. This place has anything you need. Amazing views. So peacefully at night time. We loved it.Thank you for letting us to stay.

It is a lovely cottage but the shower lets it down. I wouldn’t want to stay longer than the 3 days. Also, the info says there’s a washing machine but it’s actually a communal one in a separate building. We were asked if we wanted a fire starter kit and logs, but there isn’t a fireplace!
