Apartment Matedo - Casa Matedo

Echt een geweldig appartement in Monopoli. Goede locatie, van alle voorzieningen voorzien (zelfs meer dan je nodig hebt!) en ontzettend schoon en netjes. Vriendelijke host die ons persoonlijk kwam ontvangen. Zeker een aanrader voor iedereen die naar Monopoli wil!

Zadbane, przytulne mieszkanie blisko centrum historycznego Monopoli. Idealne na kilkudniowy pobyt. Jest w nim wszystko, co potrzebne, a samo Monopoli jest idealną bazą na zwiedzanie Apulii. Polecam także wyjazd do Grotte di Castellana. Można bezpłatnie zaparkować pod budynkiem, ale trzeba szukać miejsca (białe linie, niebieskie płatne).

Brak uwag, wszystko ok.

Trouver une place de stationnement peut être un peu compliqué surtout le week-end.

The apartment was very nice and clean, and the location is excellent—very central and convenient. Our host, Vito, was kind and helpful. We had a minor issue with the boiler, but he responded quickly and resolved it without delay.

There were a few things which i have to mention for people who are willing to rent the apartment for longer period.. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but there were a few things missing or needing improvement. There was no proper kitchen knife for cutting bread, which was a bit of an issue for us since we had to prepare breakfasts for the kids every day. Also, the frying pans and pots were quite worn out, with scratched non-stick surfaces that should be replaced. The elevator in the building had been out of order for months before our arrival, with clear signs stating it must not be used. Unfortunately, the hosts never informed us about this in advance. Had we known, we would have likely canceled the booking. This was a major issue for us, as we were traveling with two small children—one of them just 18 months old and unable to climb stairs. Every day, we had to carry both children and their strollers up and down multiple steep staircases, which was very exhausting. Additionally, the air conditioning unit drained into large plastic bottles that had to be emptied every 12 hours. Each bottle weighed over 15 kg, which was very inconvenient. Lastly, the children’s bedroom didn’t have its own exterior windows—only interior ones that opened onto an enclosed terrace, which limited fresh air. We had to keep the door to the living room open at all times for ventilation.
