Near to the station, and quite close to the old town square and all the facilities there. Plenty of shops locally to buy food and fresh fruit. the whole of Manopolii was mostly a holiday resort for Italians so it had an authentic vibe, which meant the prices were quite reasonable. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen and towels smelt lovely and clean. ~Stunning building very old i think the main room must have been 4m heigh.

Too far from the beach it was about 20-27 min to get to what was then a tiny very crowded beach. the beach itself was dirty and would benefit from being cleaned. The hosts didn't leave any beach stuff in the apartment, but did offer to rent it to us, i think they could just have left it for us. in the end we bought an umbrella and chair and left it there for the next people to use. it was very hot when we got there, and there is A/C but only in the main room, which meant we had to sleep with our doors open. The A/C also produced water from the unit which emptied into a 30ltr bucket outside on the veranda. We were told we had to empty this when it got full. as it was very humid that was almost every day (we only had it on for an hour in the day and in the evenings) this meant moving a 30Kg bucket throughout the flat and lifting it up a step into the bathroom and emptying it in the shower, it was very difficult for me to do alone but luckily my 26 daughter or husband could do it. if we were a little older i am not sure we could have done it. Really they should either plumb it into the drain (right next to it) or extend the pipes so they empty straight onto the ground (which many other properties do). the shower need to be cleaned properly as it had an unpleasant smell. Furniture was out of keeping with the lovely architecture.

A bit noisy street, makes hard to sleep at nights

Good location, easy walk to old town. Car parking on street wasn’t an issue for us. Host was very responsive! Comfortable beds.

Unfortunately the property is VERY loud and the shower is an awkward shape. Aircon is only in living space. Hard to use sofa bed as a bedroom as you have to access that room to get to kitchen and bathroom.
