Tattershall Lakes- Lancaster Crescent

Great location on park. We dont use the park facilities so didn't need to be close to them. One row back from Lake. Good views of the tornados going over. Well equipped kitchen, clean and tidy. Comfortable beds.

Everything was clean and very well kept

The only issue was the oven didn’t work but we decided we didn’t need to use it and the owners of the caravan were very polite and communicated well when we raised the issue

The location is in a quiet cul de sac so no through traffic. It is towards the rear of the park so quite far from the main complex. This was not an issue for us as we were just using it as a base for a 2 night stay and were not intending on using the facilities. It is also very near to the runway at RAF Conningsby, so obviously there is a certain amount of noise from the aircraft. Personally we really enjoy watching and listening to them. The kitchen is very well equipped and even has a dishwasher. The caravan has most of the basics you would require for a comfortable stay and the location of the park itself is great for exploring the area. Tattershall itself is a short drive away and has a Co-op and the historic village of Woodhall Spa is only a couple of miles away.

Bath towels weren't provided and there was only 1 small hand towel in the bathroom and separate toilet. Also only a tea towel in the kitchen. We have stayed at this park many times and all the other accommodation has supplied towels. There was also no handwash supplied in the ensuite toilet. The place was devoid of any personal touches. There was nothing on any of the shelves such as ornaments/books so it didn't feel very homely. We know the area very well but there was no information at all in the caravan regarding surrounding attractions or the code for the Wi-Fi. Fortunately the router was clearly visable and has the code underneath. There wasn't much spare cupboard space in the kitchen to store food. We didn't have much as ate out so wasn't an issue and there was only 2 of us.

Lovely caravan and great price.

Long walk to the main site and they had ran out of doughnuts and hotdogs. The splashzone session was cancelled as they had to close it. A new caravan was being installed at the side of us so this was noisy in the morning.
