24 hrs lovely stay at Tattershall Lakes

Cleanliness, attractive,warm,comfy bed. Especially hot tub....great. Good communication.

Spitfire landings nearby,very very loud shook the caravan,quite scary I wouldn't take my dog there but is dog friendly.

Perfect getaway

The caravan was immaculate, had all the essentials in. Communication was excellent. Location was lovely, peaceful and quiet. Lovely touches such as radio, board games etc. Hot tub was clean and instructions were left too.

Out of control of the owners but the site itself has quite a bit of car traffic, so becareful on bike rides.

Lovely stay and seamless hand over, good communication, perfect stay

Location, arriving into the home with the lovely touch of music playing and it was nice and warm too, also a gift of a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday was special. The hot tub was nice and hot too. Perfect 👌

No heating, seating area needs covering properly. Very clean and Julie lovely who checked us in.

Julie checked us in with no problems. Signal is very bad so she was unable to ring us but not her fault. The hot tub was great but needs some no foam adding. Julie had set up the table very nicely with dining set, was nice to see when we arrived. Fire was nice. The cushions were firm and lovely.

The seating area had blankets over them. Really, for calling this van a luxury van, you need to cover the seating area properly instead of just putting blankets over them. The double mattress was awful. Very hard and the bed wobbled when you got into/out of bed. Our son slept in the back room and I felt really bad for him when I felt his mattress the next morning as you could feel the springs. We moved him to the other bedroom and the mattress was great. The biggest issue we had, was that although the heating was on when we arrived. It was non-existent on our last night. We didn’t notice if the radiators were on or not on our first night as the weather was mild. However, it got very chilly on our last night. Our son woke up crying during the night saying he was cold. I went to get into bed with him to settle him, but his bed was absolutely freezing!!! I got him between us in our bed and we all huddled for warmth. This was totally unacceptable considering it is November. We couldn’t find the thermostat, we believe this is in the locked cupboard? We felt like the heating was only put on for our arrival and then it was off after that ;maybe to save money?) It was during the night so couldn’t call. It was my birthday on our last morning too so spoilt my morning a little because it was so cold. My husband went into the living room to put the fire on early to help me and our son be warm. The fire is not enough to heat the rooms which are at the back of the van.

Ok not a returner or value for money

The outside decking hot tub was the best part of the accommodation. Julie was responsive too.

The accommodation itself has seen better days. Beds uncomfortable to point couldn't sleep in them we all tried the different beds (family of 4) storage the kitchen there was something in every cupboard so no where to put your food. Internet, there was no signal in the caravan at all only pjgetaways, but we couldn't use that one. We couldn't even do a hot spot like advised, so we couldn't watch movies of a night, which is our family thing to do, and it was a major for our teenage children too. The entertainment pass is not worth it either, especially if you are only going for four days, everything booked and additional costs too.

Seems dated, lack of storage. No internet, no glasses. Cooker is inadequate four a family of 4 let alone a party of 8. Lack of cutlery. This was definitely not luxury.

Not much open space near the caravan for the children to play. Tattershall Lakes let's itself down by not having play areas that dont need a pass to access - very disappointing. No reflection on the host or the property. Poor on Tattershall Lakes.

Very clean and spacious caravan, also had everything you could need (eg foil/cling film in the kitchen, shot glasses, games for children/families which was a nice touch although we didn’t use them) Also the hot tub was amazing

Tv remote was a bit temperamental but think that may just be the batteries running low. Also internet/signal is hit and miss but that is nothing to do with the hosts!

Fantastic caravan break

The checking in was easy with a phone call. They then called us back after 10mins to ensure everything was okay. The caravan was clean, well furnished and had plenty of equipment in the kitchen. The hot tub was a lovely addition with privacy screening around it. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Had a lovely break.

I have stayed at Tattershall a good few times and think it’s a brilliant place this is a very cosy caravan and is close to everything you may need.

I wouldn’t quite say the caravan is luxury and i would say the pictures need updating with the current condition of the caravan. - the sofas are filthy and has got blankets wrapped around them that haven’t been cleaned as when I took one off and acrylic nail came out of it, and has animal hair on them. -the tv looks like it needs re fixing onto the wall - cutlery/pans could do with an upgrade just a of care and money to be spent in there to bring it back to its luxury status that it once was.

Great caravan, its not very often I say this but I would definitely return.

Its a massive site. Our caravan was easy to locate. It was clean and welcoming, especially the hot tub which was spotless. Communication with host was exceptional. We were met by Julie who gave us great information and made our stay run smoothly with her pointers of where to go for entertainment and food.

Thicker curtains in the bedrooms, but I am very light sensitive :-)

Great place to stay, Tattershall lakes is a great location with lots to do both on site and nearby. The accommodation itself was lovely.. very clean, comfy beds, nice decor and overall welcoming. Hot tub and outside area good. Host was very helpful and friendly, we had an amazing stay!

I would have liked for towels to be provided, we knew they weren’t and took our own so we were prepared. It is just nice not having to pack and take them with you. Also, just as an extra it is always nice if accommodation has some cupboard bits in eg tea, tin foil etc - didn’t effect our stay but would be nice

Fantastic stay with minimal issues.

The stay was home from home with everything you need for a family stay. The host was really kind and responded quickly and sorted out everything we needed. The bedrooms are very comfortable and very clean. Hot tubs dry clean and working as it should. Everyone is friendly there is a dvd player available too 👌🏼

There wasn’t many things I didn’t like about but if I had to choose I guess it would be that booking.com didn’t state clearly there has been dogs in the caravan and the lounge area smells of dogs which was quite strong at times. The entrainment passes are really expensive but it’s ok if you are going out of the lakes to other activities.

Fantastic weekend, just a pity we weren’t there for longer!

The caravan was very spacious and comfortable and very family friendly, lots of games etc. The position of the caravan was ideal for us as not too close to entertainment complex but a good walk around to it with views of the lake within easy walking distance.

The caravan was a little hard to find in the dark however no criticism to the caravan/owners and more the signage/lighting of the park at night.
