The only real positive was the hot tub, which was clean and in good working condition.
We were really excited about our stay, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The location itself was lovely, but the cleanliness of the caravan was extremely disappointing.
I’ve stayed at a lot of caravans over the last 10 years with my friends and I’ve never had the experience I had this time with my family.
Also I’d like to add that I’ve stayed at tattershall lakes before in a caravan that was priced at £450 same as I paid for this and the difference was unbelievable!!!
Although advertised as a 3-bedroom caravan, it actually had 4 rooms—1 double and 3 twin rooms. This was confusing and should be accurately reflected in the listing.
Cleanliness was a major issue. The bedding smelt damp, and there were no oven gloves, tea towels, hand towels provided or soap. The cooker was greasy, and surfaces like doors, light switches, and sockets were visibly dirty. Windows and the TV screen hadn’t been cleaned, and the mirrors were blurred and needed a proper polish. Inside the kitchen cupboards, there were leftover crumbs, and the fridge was missing the shelf where milk should go—so we had to remove a drawer to stand the milk upright.
Worse still, the curtains and blinds were stained, and some curtains—shockingly—had mould growing on them, including the ones right above the kids' beds. This is a serious health concern and completely unacceptable.
Overall, the caravan is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean. We paid £450 for 3 nights, but given the condition of the van, it felt more like a £250 experience.
Tattershall itself is great, and we’ll definitely return—but next time, we’ll be booking through Away Resorts as they include the passes in the price of the vans. If you hire privately that’s an extra cost.
Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re prepared for some cleaning work yourself.

Very homely and comfortable.
Picky point but a set of matching glasses would be nice. Two plastic wine glasses and random drinks glasses were all that were available. Storage for the outside cushions, which were soaking during our stay.

The caravan was ideal for what we needed. The location was is an ideal spot for us with us being just a 3minute walk to other members of our groups caravans and about a 5-10 minute walk to the amenities. The hot tub keeps a decent temperature but the jet nozzle was broken so could not turn the power of the jets up and was on the bare minimum.
There’s a few things that need a bit of attention like the cooker hood not working, the hot tub jets/nozzle fixing, a couple of the doors have shifted and need to lift to shut. The handle on main bathroom door is loose and if not held at right angle it’s difficult to unlock and get out.
But these little things didn’t ruin the weekend just some slight suggestions of what needs fixing

A little hard to find being at the very back of the site. There was no slabs/gravel leading from the parking space to the caravan steps so dragging mud form the grassed area onto the veranda and into the caravan was difficult to avoid.
The caravan was nice tidy and looked clean enough, but there were cobwebs visible all around the caravan.
There was a lot of crockery, but there was not enough glasses even though there was only 3 of us. No wine glasses or normal tumblers. No wooden spoons for cooking and no chopping board. Settee covers and cushions were stained even though it was the start of the season. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the single beds were tiny, much too small for anyone other than children. All in all the caravan was adequate and the hot tub was the saving grace. Lovely and hot all the time - we used it a lot during out stay. We found it a bit silly that we were not allowed in the spitfire bar without a pass even though it was clearly empty. think the site are missing a trick here. The Tattershall Park Pub & Kitchen just outside the site was lovely, great atmosphere, lovely food and friendly staff Would definitely recommend it.

This caravan is a home from home, anything you could possibly need is here in this lovely spacious van. A 10 min walk from all the facilities, your just a van back from the lake ,its peaceful. Great for plane spotting as your close to conningsby raf base.
I would suggest if you don't mind the planes or love them like us it's best to go mon to fri. But if you don't like them fri to mon as no flying over the weekend.
To be honest nothing about the van I didn't like. Tattershall though if you've not got kids don't worry about passes but if you have kids I'd definitely recommend them.

The location of the property is fabulous and the park itself is great.
unfortunately we was not told prior to arrival that the Jacuzzi was broken and could not produce bubbles. it would have been nice to be informed but understand these things happen but let the customer know. The property is cosmetically worn for example numerous window handles loose or broken, the floor in the bathroom was warn very flimsy and bendy and felt like we was going to fall through at any time and lots of litter around the property.

Location in a quiet area of the park, but close to Coningsby runway.
We enjoyed watching the jet fighters flying over, very close. Some may find it noisy, & they fly into the early hours of the morning, but ok for us.
No hair dryer, no teapot, no bottle shelf in fridge door, for bottles.
Lovely short break in a quiet location, loved the hot tub, as a treat at the end of the day, with a glass of champagne.

The hottub was nice and big.
I missed not having WiFi, the curtains have been home made, they hang funny which looked a bit scruffy.

lovely weekend away even during a storm! We felt very relaxed in the caravan and still made use of the hot tub. Kids loved it and the facilities were all still open to make use of on rainy days.

Location and hot tub
Smell inside caravan was awful. Never stayed anywhere that smelled so bad. Left some febreeze for the next occupants. Couldn’t get the oven to work.

Caravan was a good quiet location on the park, hot tub was a lovely luxury (despite 80% of the jets not working). All in all, we had a lovely week tho.
There was an overwhelming smell of strong urine in the small bedroom. It was almost unbearable. I brought a bottle of fabreeze from the shop and have been spraying the carpet all week but it still smelt when we left. Could have been cleaner, mattress protectors on the bed would be a good idea and some cushions for the outdoor furniture would have been nice. Really needs a dvd player too.

Kitchen wasn’t equipped well enough for 6. For example only 1 small frying pan and glasses were a mix and match

Fab location with lake view. Hot tub was lovely. Caravan spacious and bed linen lovely and fresh. The owner is nice and friendly and happy to answer any questions.
Not the cleanest.
Need to take a spatula if your cooking and a bread knife. Would advice taking air freshener too as the furniture is a bit musty but overall not a bad caravan.

The caravan was in an ideal location for the entertainment complex, shop and watching the jets take off from RAF Coningsby.
Very comfortable, clean and homely.
Hot tub was excellent too. Just what was needed for relaxing after working through the pandemic

Good Location and Clean
Caravan was a little 'worse for wear'. Radiator leaking in bathroom and broken loo roll holder. Some cushions were stained. Wood broken on the TV stand. Gate latch broken.
