We had a great time!

Location was remote, which is exactly what we wanted. There were two of the most lovely hosts and dogs. Local town with a couple of pubs was nice too. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful country property

Very beautiful location and house, with lovely hosts who live next door, but give you plenty of privacy. The house is spacious and has everything needed (brought our own cafetiere after checking!!). Cosy with the open fire, and wood is readily available in the village. Great base to explore the area and County Wicklow in general.

The bathroom is very, very small and has no window or ventilation - a drawback of the conversion.

Nightmare, worst place we have ever stayed.

Mice or rats squealing under the floor, attic was walking with vermin, place should not be let out, overpaid on booking.com and i gave the host an additional 140 and never got back my change. the house was freezing, we got left damp logs and had to buy coal and additional fuel. birds were caught in the chimney space making a racquet, we slept on the sofa. The house is full of traps so vermin is obviously an issue and droppings in cupboards. The wifi kept dropping and freezing, it is disgraceful that this premises is offered for letting and environmental agency needs to be contacted as it is a risk to the publics health. My partner was very sick and after explaining all this to the hosts i got no reply or response.

I loved everything.James and Grace are fantastic hosts and people.Dasiys Rest is an exceptional cottage with everything you need in place. The setting is beautiful.And of course, the stay would not be complete without mentioning all the beautiful animal hosts that really make Daisys Rest truly special.

Een heerlijke plek in een schitterende omgeving om met je gezin helemaal tot rust te komen.

Na een middag rijden vanuit Killarney kwamen we aan op deze prachtige locatie waar we warm werden ontvangen door de eigenaren James & Grace. Daisy’s Rest is schitterend gelegen met aan de ene kant uitzicht op zee en aan de andere kant uitzicht op de Wicklow Mountains. Het verblijf voelde als een warm bad. Ze hebben twee super lieve honden en er lopen kippen en schattige eenden rond op het terrein. Een heerlijke omgeving als je even lekker tot rust wilt komen met je gezin. Een absolute aanrader wat ons betreft!

Una splendida accoglienza da parte dei proprietari (e non solo gli umani!! ☺️ ); il cottage è molto carino, ben tenuto e ben arredato. Spazi grandi e confortevoli (ad eccezione del bagno). C’è anche un piccolo dehor del cottage che affaccia sul giardino, molto bello per fare colazione. I proprietari lasciano caffè e the da usare al risveglio, molto piacevole.

Bonne adresse

Très joli appartement, plutôt bien agencé, coin salon agréable, situé au bord d'une route peu passante. Un parking sur place. L'hôte, que l'on a pas vue, était très serviable au téléphone, réactive. Le chauffage fonctionne rapidement.

La douche avait un dysfonctionnement qui n'a pas été signalé et aurait dû l'être. L'hôte s'en est excusée mais on aurait aimé que le prix en tienne compte ! Il serait utile de protéger l'encadrement de la porte du couloir de salle de bain, plus bas que la norme, dans la pénombre, je me suis violemment cogné et suis reparti de là avec un bel oeuf sur le crâne ! Le matelas est excellent mais le sommier fait un bruit métallique consternant ! A revoir il me semble.
