The best trip away

The location was amazing and Ciaran was a fantastic host. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The Cottage is stunning.

A very authentic and beautiful cottage with a very considerate host

Everything was as described. Ciaran was so kind and conscious of our needs as a group. He even provided milk, condiments and best of all someEggs fresh from their hens.

Nothing couldn't fault it. There was no WiFi but good signal so it wasn't an issue. Only best to warn people who may need it but given the stunning setting it was good to switch off.

Magical stay in a dream

An authentic and enchanting cottage nestled in beautiful countryside- so cosy and the attention to detail was impeccable. Very quiet and tranquil.Ciaran the host was so welcoming and hospitable and had a lovely fire awaiting our arrival.

Such a lovely place

Beautiful setting, so welcoming, fantastic quaint cottage which immediately felt like home. If you want a rural retreat with peace and quiet, animals and views, this is it.

All great, unless you had mobility issues with a spiral stair.

A gem of a find.

Location is fabulous, well off the beaten track so perfect for getting away from it all. Facilities are just about right with some interesting features to make the property interesting and comfortable to stay in regardless of what the weather was doing outside and with the Wicklow walk just round the corner plenty to explore on foot.

Remember to bring your slippers or shoes for indoors stone floors look great but can be chilly underfoot, but the log burner was a easy to keep going and we had plenty of logs provided to keep us cosy and warm.

Exceptional

Host Ciarán was sound. Juice and milk in the fridge, stove ready. 2 peacocks and a cat visited me in the Kitchen ;-) Donkeys and the dog were very friendly. Thanks a mill Ciarán and Deirdre, ye have a lovely spot.

Superb

It was self catering, but food essentials were generously provided. The hosts were very hospitable, friendly and helpful. It was a charming cottage in a remote location, with lots of local interest.

The water supply was just a little unreliable in the kitchen. The spiral staircase was tricky to negotiate if the the loos was needed in the night.

Heaven!

Everything about this place is perfect! The location is remote but a few mins drive from the village, perfect for a break away from it all! The cottage is gorgeous, the photos don't do it justice, there are so many thoughtful touches around the place! It's such a lovely experience to wake up here, with the peacock's looking in the window in the morning, then you get to go out and meet the rest of the farm! The owners are as friendly and welcoming as the animals! Even if the weather isn't the best to explore outside, they have lots of books, dvds and a few games to keep guests occupied. The house is really well equipped for cooking and is exceptionally clean. I can't recommend this place highly enough, you won't regret booking this place!

Absolut empfehlenswert, ländlich gelegen, perfekt zum ausspannen.

In sehr ruhigen Gefilden gelegen, perfekt für einen Start in die Rundreise durch Irland. Nur 1,5 std. Von Dublin entfernt im Grünen. Alles ist so liebevoll eingerichtet und vorbereitet. Die Tiere am Hof kommen bis auf die Terrasse-einfach nur schön. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett und helfen bei allen Gelegenheiten.
