Perfectly located, with a south facing lounge window

Paul messaged & kept me informed & showed us around the property due to requesting an early access & allowed for a later leave time too. Beds & finishing touches were prepared & inviting. A Christmas tree was still up to enhance the Christmas period for celebrations.

Very clean and beautiful interiors, clean and beautiful bathroom, Very comfortable beds and clean sheets Easy access to the property and parking was roadside but we were helped regarding parking arrangements very kindly by the host We were able to contact host anytime and had prompt replies from him

Very steep stairs , my husband has disability but we managed somehow. Broken blinds in the bedroom , had to leave them down and shut the whole time we stayed, couldn’t enjoy the sunshine or views Only one bedroom had the fan , very hot in the summer to sleep without fan

lovely location walked to Portsmouth twice and got the bus back. Restaurants nearby.

Found the stairs very steep and narrow treads being older people was awkward to negotiate. Also the bath needs a nonslip mat and a support bar to assist getting in and out. Other than that all was good.

Flat was generally clean, with good facilities. Handsoap on sinks Warm Handy for shops and restaurants. Quiet considering the location Easy to get hold of the landlord.

The stairs were so steep, with small stairs, that I wouldn't recommend for elderly or people with walking difficulties. Had to blockade stairs at night, for fear of someone falling down them. No curtains on the landing. Had to dress in tiny bathroom, after showering as had to cross landing to bedroom. No bath sheets only small towels. / No bath mat. No hook in bathroom for hanging nightwear/towel. No wall shower, only handheld. No mattress protectors, and the mattress did have some stainage😣 TV controls difficult to navigate. Oven trays still full of crumbs, from previous occupants Hole in wall and lose electrics by tv. Strange wall art

Perfect location great stay

Lovely host, was really approachable and came over asap when we needed a few things checking. Location was perfect shops, pubs bars, cafes, beach and canoe park is 5 min walk away. Host also sorts out parking permit for outside. We will come and stay again.

The stairs were extremely steep more like a carpeted ladder, this made it difficult with a toddler and also it would be hard for someone with mobility issues to get up and down. A stair gate might be useful for general use to make the stairs less of a hazard.

Great location

Great location for where we wanted to be. Centrally located within easy reach of the beach and promenade (a 10-15 minute walk) and even closer to numerous restaurants and shops. The host was really amenable and ensured that everything was ready and clean for us. The apartment was comfortable and we had a relaxing few days.

Steep stairs to reach the apartment on the first floor but we soon got used to them.

A lovely gem of a find in the heart of Southsea.

I loved the open airy sunny space of this apartment. It has a really lovely vibe to it. It was perfect for me and my friend for an over nighter after going to a daytime rave Home by 11.30pm. Lovely place to come back to and chill before going to bed. Paul was super helpful too with any enquiries when I needed help. I'm not the most tech savvy girl but sending a video over on how to work the induction hob was great for me and my friend to have a very late brunch which we soooo needed after dancing for 6 hours solid lol. Next time something is on in Portsmouth this is the place to stay. Thanks Paul for such a lovely stay and for being so accommodating 🤩
