Southsea Historic Gem - Elegant Apartments

I stayed in the ground floor apartment (14a) and the apartment is very spacious. A big living room, big bathroom and a surprise reading room. It was more than comfortable for me and my 6 years old. There is also an area outside to lounge. The washing machine (plus washing pods provided) really helps a lot. The distance to Southsea boating lake and beach is also reasonable.

The noise. You can hear people in the upstairs apartments when they walk out of their apartment when they walk around and when they walk down especially during summer months if you sleep with the window open (no fan provided). It didn’t totally interrupted our stay though. The WiFi isn’t the strongest.

Although we arrived very late in the night, the property manager went out of his way (and I think at extra cost on him) to ensure that we were comfortable. The apartment met our expectations and had all the amenities that was advertised on the booking website. There was no cause to regret at all. We enjoyed the apartment and wished the same could be replicated throughout our stay in other parts of the UK. The apartment was very neat.

Everything was perfect. There was nothing to complain about

Location was brilliant. Very central. Very comfortable stay with everything we needed.

Another fan for a bedroom would have been nice, as it was quite warm but not a must, as an air cooler was left for the lounge.

The apartment absolutely exceeded our expectations! Very spacious, modern, and clean. The bed itself was very comfortable. The bathroom was big, with a big tub! We didn't make use of the kitchen, as we were out most of the day, but it looked very well-stocked with pans and utensils for people who want to stay longer and cook. We also found the check-in experience very smooth and straightforward. We also liked the location, as it was close to where we needed to be for our event. We'd happily stay again if we're back in Portsmouth!
