apartment was nice but didn't like the fact the owner was living there and very rude.
Well ... I told the owner we would arrive by 11am, but we were only late because my husband is a farmer and had to deal with a problem at the farm. I just assumed that there would be a box were you would obtain the key. When we arrived there at 3pm there was no info so I called him, he was very rude to me on the phone saying he was going to cancel. We were only late because my husband is a farmer and had to deal with a problem at the farm. Then I was at the incorrect house, and he was rude to me again. He was inside the house to let us in, which I was not expecting??? When me and my young family went into the property, he had all his bags in the hall as if he was living there. I was horrified, if I wanted an Air B& B I would have booked through them, he should not have been there at all. He was obviously very drunk, and this was confirmed as there was a litre bottle of vodka on the kitchen counter. He was drinking this with coke and continued to drink this while we were there & eating pringles. He was showing me how to work the tv and getting annoyed at me because he thought this was very complicated and I wouldn't understand. Showing us the fridge and dishwasher. And saying the most inappropriate things to my husband “ like you & your wife can take a bath when the kids go to bed” and “you can both have a romantic fire when the kids are asleep.” as if he was imagining this. Then he brought us into his room and said, “this is where you are sleeping patting the bed, the sheets are from M & S. I only buy the best!” He stayed about an hour while me and my young children were there, it was uncomfortable & strange. I could see he was struggling with his bags, so I offered to help him to carry them to his car. He was very drunk and was staggering around his car and he drove off. I also asked him for the key, and assumed he left it in the door. But he didn’t and also the Wi-Fi code which was in the book was incorrect.
