Lovely

Was spotlessly clean, had everything you might need Inc. Tea and coffee. Lovely secluded spor on the farm. Very peaceful. Very comfortable, and lovely outside spot with seating too.

Only complained is the clock on the wall ticks quite loud, when trying to sleep!

Ideal accommodation and appropriate for the rural area

Location suited us as a couple with a dog. Although the hut is tiny, the accommodation meet all our needs for a brief stay.

Quiet hut that could be so much nicer.

The peace and quiet and privacy

The hosts did not furnish us with arrival details until 30 minutes after we arrived and then only after we had sent endless messages. In fact we never saw them at all. The shower, as mentioned by several people previously, was very temperamental, going from hot to cold constantly. The fridge was tiny and the ice box almost completely iced up. The farmyard was very unkempt, giving a view from the hut of dilapidated outbuildings and a partly concreted area overrun with weeds. There was however a pleasant small grassed area in the corner with table and benches.

A relaxing bucolic stay.

The location was good, but unfortunately, the village has no shops; you need to bring food with you before arriving. The hut did have some milk and snacks which was a thoughtful gesture. The hut overlooked a lovely bucolic setting. The hut had everything you would need, whether in the summer or winter months.

It would have been welcoming if the owner came out to greet the guests as they arrived.

A short break was just what we needed very sweet accommodations

A lovely well equipped hut

The Hut was very clean and cosy, and we loved our stay there. The area was beautiful, the view from Lookout spectacular. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The Hut had everything we needed. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the little basket of treats. The hens are cute. 10 out of 10. We will be back.

A perfect place to stay for a few days… would definitely recommend!

I liked everything about this lovely wee shepherd’s hut… amazing use use of a small space, so that I didn’t feel at all cramped . Anything you could need has been provided, decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Options for outdoor seating too… a hidden gem of a place!

Comfortable & clean caravan with helpful host.

The host, Lucy, was was very helpful both before and after our stay (my husband left his suit behind!). The location was perfect for a wedding at Owlpen Manor. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was well kitted out. The bed was very comfortable!

The only thing we can think of for improvement is better fitted blinds for the windows. We were woken up at 5.20 by the sunlight and struggled to get back to sleep.

Rustic, comfy, splendid!

Loved everything! Beautiful old farm, with very tastefully renovations. The Hut is a little bit away from the units, and so is private and with a lovely rustic outlook, complete with doves and friendly hens. All the important things like a large comfortable bed , a little kitchen ,a fire if needed ( it was ) and extra goodies made it a splendid stay.

Hidden and cosy gem in idyllic setting

Beautiful and fully equipped hut, tucked away in its own, tranquil part of the farm…and perfect setting for unwinding and recharging
