A nicely restored manor house; a very friendly host

Sybille and her family have nicely restored this large manor house that their family owns. It is in a large private park that we would have enjoyed walking around if the weather had been better. The room that we had was beautifully updated with a very modern bathroom, including a large and efficient shower. Sybille’s attention to detail is seen in the sheets and the towels which are like what five star luxury hotels offer. The breakfast was very good, including with the freshly made crêpes, in a beautiful room and a very refined atmosphere. Sybille was very kind and helpful; she even ran after our car as we started to drive away in order to return my glasses that I had forgotten. We would definitely return.

In order to see the entrance, it needs a little more noticeable sign by the front gate in the large and impressive stone wall.

Beautiful welcoming property ideal for a quiet stay.

Beautiful Dining room furnished in a traditional style. Spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed. All the plumbing worked as it should. High standard of cleanliness everywhere. The refurbishment of this mid 19th century property has been carried out with style and authenticity. Quiet countryside location but close to small shopping centre and a big supermarket. Lovely beach at Val Andre but was completely deserted as we imported English weather! Charming and helpful lady hostess.

Bedroom was a little chilly one evening when the weather was cool and wet. No USB ports - bring your own European adaptors. A small fridge would have been useful - no where to keep drinks cold.

Amazing - a hidden gem with wonderful host. Highly recommend

The property is superb, has been renovated beautifully and enjoyed seeing the book with all renovations made. Sibylle the host was really friendly, helpful and suggested some great places to visit. The bedroom was beautiful and quiet and bed super comfortable.

Narrow entrance through gates but our fault for having a big 4x4!

Le lieu est un havre de paix. La demeure est merveilleuse, tant par son extérieur que par sa décoration intérieure d'un raffinement extrême. Le petit déjeuner est absolument délicieux. L'accueil est chaleureux et très attentionné. Une adresse inoubliable !

Ontvangst met een enthousiaste glimlach. Een mooi adres, zorgvuldig gerestaureerd landhuis, heel authentiek in een prachtig park. Wat een rust na de drukte van de kust! Lekker ontbijt met lokale producten geserveerd op linnen tafelkleed met servetten, geborduurd door een tante van de eigenares.

Das Landschloss aus dem 19. Jahrhundert mit den traditionell eingerichteten Zimmern und den modernen Bädern hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war für uns wie eine Zeitreise ins 19. Jahrhundert. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Ein rundum schöner Ort, um sich richtig zu entspannen!

Es war ein wunderschöner, sehr entspannter Aufenthalt

Wunderschönes Haus, umgeben von Wiesen, sehr alten Bäumen und Sträuchern und einem Wald. Es gab so viel zu entdecken und für unsere Hunde war es eine optimale Umgebung. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, unser Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr hübsch eingerichtet, das Badezimmer ebenfalls geräumig und ganz modern. Es gab ein vielseitiges, sehr leckeres Frühstück mit täglich ganz frischen Backwaren und vielem mehr. Wir haben uns rundum perfekt versorgt gefühlt.

Wer historische Gebäude schätzt und den Urlaub mal weg vom Standard verbringen möchte, ist hier richtig.

Gute Lage mit riesigem Grundstück, ideal wenn man mit Hund reist. Es handelt sich um ein Haus aus dem 19. Jh., welches jedoch umfassend renoviert wurde. Man muss wissen, dass historische Gebäude etwas hellhörig sind, denn Türen und Holz Böden knarren. Die Heizung im Bad und das warme Wasser der Dusche haben gut funktioniert. Die Eigentümer Familie wohnt mit im Haus, sie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sprechen Englisch.

In unserem Zimmer gab es keinen Schrank und wenig Platz für unser Gepäck. Die Zimmer nach vorne zum Park sind jedoch deutlich größer, bei Buchung darauf achten.

Nous avons passé 2 jours au Cloître qui est une demeure familiale de caractère authentique calme et reposante entourée d'un magnifique parc et d'une forêt. Excellent petit déjeuner avec mention spéciale pour les crêpes 😋. Merci à Sybille pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité.

Das Herrenhaus bot ein tolles Ambiente. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und hatte Charme. Die Zimmer waren top renoviert. Die Hausherrin war ausgesprochen fürsorglich, sehr nett aber nicht aufdringlich. Auch der Ort hat uns gut gefallen mit tollen Stränden. Der Ort ist noch nicht touristisch überlaufen.

Superbe et trop court.

Très joli château du XIX ème, habité jusqu’à maintenant. La mise à niveau pour un confort moderne est très bien faite, avec respect de l’architecture d’origine. Les chambres et les salons sont très confortables. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait. Le parc est immense avec des grands pins et des magnolias centenaires. Un très bel endroit pour revisiter les romantiques, avec tout le confort d’aujourd’hui.

Belle maison privée avec quelques chambres récemment rénovées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'authenticité du lieu, le parc et l'hospitalité de la maîtresse de maison. Très beau petit déjeuner avec des produits maison, servi dans une belle salle avec vue sur le parc. A recommander vivement
