Enjoyable relaxing hotel.

Beautifully appointed hotel with lovely gardens & an interior pool, where we stayed many times under its previous ownership. Very good choice of food at breakfast. Only a short drive to the coast.

The inflexibility when ordering in the Brasserie. We had to preorder all our courses. We wanted some cheese one evening but were told we couldn’t have it. They wouldn’t even let us order a scoop of ice cream later either.

We enjoyed this hotel, the pool was just about large enough to have a good swim, jacuzzi was far too cold and crazy to charge for the sauna! Nice grounds, great staff, dining facilities, quiet. Loved the old parts that had been retained, the old fashioned radiators and parts of the building created fabulous character. Great to have carpets as well, easy 10 min drive to Concale with lots of restaurants and coastal walks,thank you and every good wish.

Difficult to find, but great staff and easy parking. Bed was uncomfortable and the chairs needed upholstering - not at all comfortable and there was no where else to sit in the room. Shocking they charge for the sauna, never seen that in a hotel, would be better to increase the fee and not market the hotel as a spa resort. Nonetheless, had a very pleasant stay, thank you and every good wish.

If you’re tall, above 5’ 9” then avoid the rooms with sloping ceilings. Nearly knocked myself out getting out of bed.

Our room had a very small terrace, stuck in a corner, with no view. The charge per dog is excessive. The room has no fridge, no complimentary water, one tea bag each and one sachet of instant coffee, no milk and no spoons. Kettle would not reach plug so you had to put on the floor.

Beautiful setting, pleasant rooms, no air con but windows that open so that was no big issue. Pool was also a bonus in the heat!

More vegan/dairy free options at breakfast would be welcomed but appreciate not many hotels in France have this on offer. As the hotel is family friendly, I’d suggest opening up the pool earlier to guests as those with children will generally be up very early and would appreciate being able to take the children swimming earlier than 9/9:30am.

Excellent pre ferry stop.

Good location for overnight stay for catching the ferry in the morning.

The meal was excellent but sadly the bistro restaurant was not open on Sunday evening and therefore we felt that an A la Carte menu would have been preferable.

Not very good value for the price

The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy parking directly in front of the property.

It’s not a 4 Stars hotel as on booking.com shows! The setup of the room is very basic. nothing to do with a 4stars hotel. There is no AC nor refrigerator in the room. The door is the only possibility to open to get fresh air. The blanket is too thick for sleep without AC. Internet connection is too weak!
