Magical Adventures
This is not a posh place but is a farm house belonging to an interesting and curious patron who overseas the rental of rooms to curious and adventurous guests. We loved the warmth and hospitality and the general curiosity of the people we met and loved talking to the host with our limited French, loved the forest walk and befriending their guardian cat.
Bedding could be better and more comfortable.

A wonderful house in the Broceliande Forest
The beautiful mystical house seems to be out of place in this modern era. It belongs to its history and to the myth of earlier times that lies within and rises around it. I feel a fortunate person to have been able to host in such a unique house. It stays in my mind as the best accommodation and choice I have ever had from my travels. The communication with Gregory who takes care of everything in the place came to be brotherly. I will never forget the breakfast time when we all gathered in the main dining room and were treated to his treat of fine food and drinks. We were like a companion from morning until evening when we again gathered to say goodnight and retire to our rooms. The cats that roamed the house were an added life and freedom to the atmosphere that prevailed. I could write even more but I would like every visitor to have the opportunity to discover for themselves the true beauty of dwelling in there, alongside that special person who cares for it and experiencing the magic of the forest.
All were so unique and wonderful, nothing to say as "I didn't like" I'm in love with the Manoir du Tertre

We walked out and didn't stay
There is nothing to like in this awful place
The grounds are totally overgrown and on arrival went through kitchen. The property is semi derelict and workmen operating on 1st floor. The man who was there on arrival left on his motorcycle leaving a girl of 11-13 as the only other person there. It was dirty and forbidding and we felt very vulnerable. Clearly we would be there on our own and as a result we booked another hotel and walked out. It is not a hotel or an apartment, just a second floor room with no support and poor facilities. There was no shower. We couldn't stay as it was so awful and walked out demanding our money back.

As it’s an old property, almost everything can be heard through the walls and doors.

A very special location - well appreciated, if "atmosphere" is more important than "comfort"
Nice Guest House atmosphere with a host, that took very good care of us. Very nicely located with a great view - perfect condition to enjoy a nice breakfast on the terrace.
The rooms could partly have been nicer equipped, e.g. a curtain for the shower would have been appreciated.
