Passable is the only way to describe it

Not a lot ,close to work so location was perfect

4 bedroom well 3 bedroom and a bed in the living room only 3 seats at the table (no good for 4 people ) only a large sofa for maybe 2 people in the living room no good for 4 people and no telly’s in the bedrooms

The worst experience of my life

Nothing at all

Everything filthy, unsafe and rude host. The house was left in a dirty state filthy floors, rubbish, broken furniture and glass left on the floor, other people’s socks left around the house, mouldy smelling, old half eaten takeaway left in the cupboard. Mouldy food in the fridge, bins not emptied, cigarette ends left all over the outside step.

It was perfect for us to be away and be able to stay together as a family

It was near town centre and close to pub. Was a nice quiet area .. had plenty of hot water

Wasn’t keen on the bed in lounge … felt it would have been better with a sofa bed so we could all sit in lounge. However I knew it was like that when we booked and this property served its purpose in that we were looking for seven beds… and we just sat on bed in lounge!

Had to leave, as it was very unclean. And the general state of the building seemed unsafe. The electrical fittings looked the be 40+ years old and some of it dangerous. Not sure how this place is allowed on any booking site

cheap not cheerful

was close to A19 and easy to access property beds (only) were clean and comfortable shower was very powerful parking heating and hot water was efficient

the property is very run down and almost like someone has started doing it up and then stuck some beds in rooms to make some money to finish it off. the entrance gate was difficult to open as the whole fence moves with it. bathroom wasn't clean. there was a manky old flannel hanging on the shower rail which was crusty and solid. no hand towels in the bathroom or wc. there was previous occupants excrement on both loo brushes. only 3 mugs in kitchen, there was only 3 of us but we didn't have any family come to see us as we would have had to take it in turns to have a cuppa. the towels were not very good. not absorbent. my bedroom smelled of cigarettes and it hadn't been cleaned as there were empty filter cellophanes on the floor. we have family throughout peterlee and surrounding areas and visit annually from dorset. we usually visit as a family ie mum, adult kids, grandchildren and have been trying to find a property that we can rent every year to visit but we will not book this one again. we came up for a funeral so was a quick trip. if we had been staying longer we would have gone elsewhere.
