Charming 23 m studio near the sea

Lovely little place! It was clean and considering it is just a sofa bed it was pretty comfortable! The kitchen could be used to the full extent and the bathroom was nice. The studio is also relatively spacious. The apartment complex itself is modern and quiet.

It was really hard to check in to the property! The instructions had two different addresses of them, it was not clear how to use the keypad and then the door to the apartment was a nightmare! It was not clear that you have to turn the key to open the door and the first few days I had to knock on a neighbours door to show me. Although I did eventually figure this out after a 10 hour travel day the very last thing I wanted was to be dragging my suitcase around the block several times in 20c heat and having to panic call my mum to help me make sense of the instructions. I did contact the rep but they wouldn’t pick up my calls and it took them a while to respond to messages and they were not giving helpful or constructive guidance. This really put a damper on the start of my trip and was really stressful not knowing if I’d be able to get back into my own apartment! The apartment itself is small and you are just paying for a sofa bed that wasn’t made up (even though since it’s the only bed in the room you would have to make it up eventually) and so it does feel a little over priced. Also there was only one small square pillow provided for the bed so had to make up the rest with throw pillows! Although the kitchen is nice, the fridge was noisy on a night and there was no tea, coffee, water etc provided. Also no salt or pepper or even kitchen roll. It would be really nice if it was a little bit more stocked up! Also I was only given one small roll of toilet paper for the whole stay and for four nights this felt a bit tight! Finally the apartment is in a very residential area so there is no supermarket near by and it is a good 10 minute walk to the sea and 15 minutes to Nice Ville train station.
