Perfect for an overnight stay by the lake.

The warm hospitality of the staff and location. Everything was within walking distance.

The elevator is a bit weird with two doors for entry. But walking up and down the stairs was not a problem.

Placing family with baby car and non working lift on the last floor was extremely bad experience.

Great location, quite place, BUT lift was not working and with baby car we were placed on the last floor.

Towels and washcloths were white and clean, but with extreme bad smell. The breakfast was so so.

A great family place to stay with a good location.

The property was modern and the location was fairly close to the lake and town centre.

The shower door did not close properly so a lot of water would end up on the floor soaking the bath mat, however it dried really quick and all our towels were replaced daily.

Good location, elevator, Full length mirror in the room, Change of towels and cleaning every day. The first blond lady at the reception was very nice.

The bed is horrible, I had back pain every morning. Plus I asked for double and got twins. No blackout curtain, the room is bright as soon as sun comes up. And with the noise of the doors smashing all morning, I couldn’t get proper rest.. The bed is not set, just a sheet left there on the bed. The blanket was left in the wardrobe. I would prefer not having to make it myself.. The staff wouldn’t really say good morning or anything when they see you 🤷‍♀️

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location, very close to main street. There's a garage under the building where you can park, but entrance is possible only with an elevator and we were unable to park there because our van was large and heavy for the elevator. But the staff helped us park near the building. Great value for money.

Airconditioning more noisy than efficient. Breakfast so-so. Beware that the underground parking is not usable for heavier cars like Ford s-max at 1700kg (plus luggage). But the staff was helpful to arrange parking right in front of the house.

Very good breakfast, staff was helpful in case of underground parking. Bar at the reception and open bar in the room fridge (however prices was twice expensive as in the store)

Broken chairs on the balcony. In addition, I asked the staff twice for the possibility of paying on the first day/check-in, unfortunately they did not find time for me. The funds for the stay were debited automatically from the bank account on next day and was charged with a high commission, which was not good for me.

Well equipped apartment just near the lake

Nice apartment for family, with clean kitchen modernly equipped with a fridge, stove and oven - so it's very well suited for a long stay. Proximity to the lake and old town. Friendly staff and personal attitude for breakfast.

I don't know if it's possible to do something with this issue in Balkans, but the problem with cigarette smoke getting into the apartment's corridor through ventilation system was not resolved during my stay. Some guests seem to continue smoking inside rooms even if they are equipped with smoke detectors. Perhaps you could make "No smoking" signs more visible in the rooms or put notes that smoking would cause penalty. With doors closed to rooms the smoke didn't get inside the rooms, so we slept well, but we had to keep the bathroom window wide open during February to make the smoke smell in the corridor not so concentrated.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. We had to order our breakfast in advance, and we got what we expected - or even more. Parking possibility was ok.

Great accommodation in Ohrid

It was not our first time in Villa Arte, so we are already used to the accommodation. Clean, comfortable rooms, well equipped with everything that you need. For everything else, the amazingly hospitable staff is there to help you out. The location is great and I strongly recommend it if you are planning frequent visits to the Old city of Ohrid. Everything is very close: restaurants, shops, cafés... All in all, it's a perfect experience!

It was too hot in the rooms, which was not bad, but we are just not used to staying in such warm rooms. Unfortunately, the heating was centrally managed, so there was no possibility to adjust it...

It was a very big, comfortable, fresh and convenient studio room. We liked it so much and wished we had more time to spend in Ohrid. Breakfast was so delicious with local sauces. We will prefer again next time.
