Guest House Marli

Guest House Marli is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The whole place is spotlessly clean, modern and felt like a home away from home. It’s located only a couple of minutes from Ohrid’s main promenade but is tucked away down a nice little side street so you’re away from all the hustle and bustle. There’s a proper coffee machine in the kitchen that makes a very good coffee. I also really appreciated the ease of the keyless entry. The biggest highlight was the host (Jovana) and her family - so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Jovana very kindly allowed me to check in early and check out late to fit the timings of my buses. Also, after briefly chatting to one of her family members who had popped by the guest house one morning, he later brought me a slice of his nephew’s traditional Ohrid wedding cake to try (which was delicious)! I felt touched by their kindness. All-in-all, a lovely place to stay. Next time I visit Ohrid, I will definitely stay again.

I had a great time here! The host, Jovana, was so helpful and kind! She recommended me so many places and restaurants and I had an amazing time in Ohrid thanks to her. There was everything needed in the room. And there’s also a piano in a lobby!

Stephan is a very kind person. Coffee station is great. Internet is fast. Centrally located.

A balcony and a smoke patio are not the same . Never found the terrace mentioned in the listing. Noisy even in the back of the building.
