Great Villa, Value for Money, Best choice ever. Highly recommend.

Great Location walking distance to everyone and wonderful little deck on to the water it's great for a swim. Also had wonderful hosts who were very welcoming and helpful. Great recommendations for hiring vehicles and activities. With a group of friends or a partner it's great value for money. Wonderful amenities and the bathroom was stocked with toilet roll and soaps. A great balcony and a wonderful view towards the beautiful lake.

Right on the edge of town.

Perfect location in town and we found a parking spot very close. We had a balcony and even though it was cool and rainy, we spent quite a bit of time watching the world go by. The beds were perfect and there was plenty of hot water. The host was extremely responsive.

The WiFi was a little flakey and would come and go. But overall, all was good.

Bathroom very small. pillows were a little uncomfortable and the sewerage small was horrible which is understandable and acceptable being that it’s in the Old Town.

Perfect location right on the lake.

I had a room with a side view not expecting to have a view of the lake. I was pleasantly surprised to have a beautiful view from the balcony.

The bathroom is very small and there was an area under the shower which wasn't covered and was very dirty inside.

Perfect Location

A perfect place to stay. We booked the apartment and it had a big balcony and very large bathroom. The outdoor area was very lovely, we were able to sit and relax on the comfortable sunbeds looking over the lake. They also had tables and chairs in the garden. The spot was ideal for being in the centre. I was prepared for the bustling noise outside where the bars are and it was definitely worth it. Check in was easy too.

Great location but only good for those with small children

The location of the villa was spectacular; uninterrupted views of the lake, right on the water. The service of the owners was also good, they answered all questions via Whatsapp very promptly and it was nice to have the linen changed during our stay. It was also conveniently located between old town and the centre of Orhid so good walking distance to both ends of town with plenty of restaurants and bars

The description of the room said 2br with a twin and a double room. Both rooms were twin - so my husband and I slept in separate beds for 8 nights. The bathroom was extremely small which wasn't great for my teenage boys who struggled to shower. Considering we stayed for 8nights, it would have been nice for the owner to clean the bathroom once or twice during our stay. There were no cleaning products left in the bathroom.

Perfect stay

The villa is located in the best area of town. It has a private access to the lake and beautiful views, close to everything. Owners are really nice, friendly and accessible. We had a perfect stay and would recommend it to everyone. Bonus: they have an adorable dog ❤️

Really not what we expected

Bed comfortable, location lovely

The shower was too small, so small that we had trouble to go out of it. There was leaking from the roof of the toilet. The room is old, not in line with the picture you see on booking. Cleaning really not at the top. Sound isolation does not exist, during the night we had noisy neighbours and we couldn't sleep. Overpriced for what it is.

Fantastic location and stunning views - Be prepared to pay with cash

We were totally amazed by the view which we had in our room when we first arrived! You have one of the best views of Lake Ohrid from an elevated balcony. Even though it was freezing cold, we loved sitting on our balcony under some blankets for hours in the day and night. The value for money with this location is incredible. Apart from being right on the water, a great selection of restaurants and bars are only 1 minute walking distance. Makes exploring the small old town very simple.

This property only accepts CASH payments, which is okay, but it didn't feel like a very good system for taking our payment. Previously in accommodations like this, the host would reach out upon check-in and ask when would be a suitable time to come and hand over the payment. However, it seemed it was our responsibility to contact the host and ask how they wanted the payment. We ultimately handed our cash over to the owner as we were checking out after we let them know we were leaving soon and wanted to make sure we paid. We were almost going to leave the cash in the room, but that didn't feel right. The other small issue is that the bathroom is tiny! If you are a larger person, you will really struggle to manipulate yourself to fit. The door swings in to an already tiny space, making it even more difficult to close the door as you squeeze yourself against the sink! Just something to consider for some visitors.

Location was great, short walk to the Main Street. Beautiful view from the rooms overlooking the lake. Parking available out front for free. Comfortable bed. Owners were very helpful, especially considering the language barrier!

Exceptional

Lucije and her husband are lovely and helpful and attentive. The house is loved and worn but very comfortable and welcoming. We had a side balcony that gets morning sunshine. There are better balconies overlooking the lake, sure you can request. Our room was large with all we needed in it including a fridge. The bathroom is old and needs upgrade but the shower is very good. The sunlounging private area is a real boon, plopping into the water when hot is a delight. We even borrowed a paddle board for free.

The communal kitchen needed a clean and some better utensils. The oven was really dirty.

Good location in the old town. Nice with private terrasse directly at the lake.

The room and especially the bathroom is "tired" and need an update. The kitchen is public for all guests and was not clean. We dropped cooking by ourselves. The parking lot is outside the old town and you need to pay for it.
