Beautiful Place, Perfect Location, Helpful Owner

We had a really great stay and were very happy with this place. Everything was just right — the property was very clean, the location was super convenient, and it felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, well looked after, and had everything we needed. The owner was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Location. Balcony has a very nice view.

Low standards. Lack of attention to detail. Toilet smells very bad… could it be because of bad cleaning procedures or by old pipes? smells like a dirty public toilet regardless. Everything is old and the beds are very old and uncomfortable. Dirty dusty room corners. Would not recommend, will not return. Problems with wifi. I could go on and be a lot more specific, just be aware that the the advertising is done as a hidden gem, maybe it was one day. I wouldn’t say the star rating has been updated accordingly.

Excellent view, kind host, great value

We booked it because of the view, we loved it because of the view and the host Nickolas was so helpful and attentive. Location was great, we slept well on the beds, and the views of sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and the lake were outstanding. Nickolas went above and beyond for us, helping us get our laundry done, offering suggestions, and checking in to be sure we were comfortable. We would book here again.

Everything was good, but visitors who may be sensitive to the following should note: there is sometimes an odor from the drain in the bathroom, but it’s a historic building in a historic town and it did not bother us.

Great view

The location is excellent. In the Old Town with easy access to the beaches and close to the fortress on the hill. I had the upstairs rooms so there is plenty of space and a great view from the balcony. I highly recommend booking the upstairs rooms. The host, Nikolas, is very helpful and answers questions quickly.

The shower is a bit of an adventure, but it's not a deal breaker. Wifi is a bit weak.

The attentiveness of the owner - very responsive to requests for help. The view was exceptional.

No shower in / for the second floor rooms, just a bath with a hand held shower head. No adjoining parking space. My daughters were in a separate room that, ultimately, other guests had access to (unless we would have locked them in and caused a fire risk). The TV wasn’t working and the fridge didn’t seem to work in 201. The noise from the DJ night they had nearby on the Friday night.

The view was absolutely beautiful and the location of the apartment was great!

You could only shower sitting, there was a lack of clothes hangers, crockery, and cutlery. Under the beds, it wasn't clean, and one of the sheets had a bloodstain.

Location was excellent

It was a tiny room. Cobwebs in the room. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom, the shower head was broken and the tap on the sink broke. We couldn’t turn the water off.

Great room with lake view and parking in centre of Ohrid

The spacious apartment is located very centrally in the old town with a stunning view over Lake Ohrid from the terrace of the 2 bedroom apartment we rented. The rooms and bathroom (private but outside) are very clean. Close to restaurants and bars. We did not met the owner personally but he helped us great by phone when we arrived with our car by the upper gate of the old town.

WiFi was most of the time even too week to send a Whatsapp text message. With a larger than a small car it is probably difficult to reach. Without personal help hard to find as Maps send you in the wrong direction.

Gem in Ohrid

Things to like about this place surpasses the things to talk about. Host is very nice and responsive. Willing to help and solve problems. View from the balcony is wonderful but

Balcony needs to be deep cleaned and some of the fixtures are old so needs to be repaired which is understandable. Host told me he is working in another project so he doesn't get time but this place is a gem as well.

Fantastic location, less impressive interiors

The balcony is as fantastic as it looks, and the localtion in the middle of the old town is unbeatable. The manager is very nice and helpful.

We stayed in the "two bedroom apartment", although "two rooms (whereof one is equipped with a refrigerator, a kettle, and access to the balcony) with shared bathroom" would be a better description. The facilities in the rooms deserve some maintenance.

Special stay

Beautiful location in the centre of the Ohrid Old town. Easily accessible to all points of interest. Parking in the front of the apartment. Amazing hosts waited patiently for us arriving late due to our delayed flight. As we came to Ohrid especially to celebrate my birthday hosts kindly gifted me a special bottle of Macedonian wine. Service par excellence.

Google navigation guides in the opposite direction from the accommodation. Once you enter Car Samuilo street, turn LEFT. DON'T TURN RIGHT like Google is telling you. See map attached.

Mr. Zoran is perfect host he is so helpful. You can ask him where to eat where to buy pearls. He can also help you about the parking spots because all city has paid parking spots. Ideal if you only need a bed and a shower. It is not a room to enjoy.

The location is fine. Central. The room was warm and the bed was comfortable.Cleanliness was good.

The sink in the bathroom was clogged. The room we stayed in was 18 square meters, but you don't even have a place to open your suitcase. It is very difficult to move around the room. It was inconvenient. It is inconsistent that even though it says breakfast in the system, it is inconsistent to write an extra charge for breakfast. If you say that only a bed and a shower are enough for this room, it will meet your needs. There is no balcony and it is stuffy because it is small.

The owner was available so he picked me up for free from the bus station which was very kind. Property has central heating so is warm & cosy in winter. Excellent location in old town also near supermarkets and bakeries.
