The guest is really kind and helpful, he helped me with the bus schedules. The room is well located, not far from the city centre and the Lake Ohrid. The room was as expected.

The only problem with the room was that is was a bit cold, even with the heater on all the day. But except that, it was perfect. Just to precise that when I came it was around -5°C outside so it also explains why it was cold.

This was a lovely place to stay in ohrid. The location is quiet yet just a short walk from the city, and the hosts were so lovely. A lovely family-run guest house near everything.

This lovely family-run guest house has a beautiful garden where you can sit outside. The view from the terrace in my room was amazing. Internet works well and the location is great. It’s very quiet inside the house despite being near to the center. In addition, they could not be nicer or more hospitable, always happy to help you feel comfortable.

Slave and his wife were very kind and accommodating. They made you feel at home. The place was excellent. It was in a quiet neighborhood and the amenities were great. Highly recommended for Ohrid.

Absolutely lovely people. I was travelling alone and my room was big, the bed was comfortable, it was clean. For this price - you need to stay here. And meet the owners - makedonian coffee made by them was delicious ;)

It can be bit noisy sometimes as there are like 6 different rooms there.

Everything was perfect, can't wait to come back someday

The owner is really nice, he offered me a better room with a terrace, so I could see the fortress all the time:))) He even helped me out after my trip ended, so I'm really thankful for that. Location: it's located in the calm area of Ohrid, with almost no cars, but it's not far from the city centre and grocery shops. The owner also has a nice garden, so you can feel like at home. Room: rooms are well equipped with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was super clean. There was an AC and a terrace with seating and a table. All in all, it was a perfect place to stay and I'm really sorry I didn't spend more time in Ohrid.

Happy with my stay

Nice simple room that has everything you need, it was very clean and spacious enough with your own bathroom and fridge + kettle. I felt good in there. They even have a separate kitchen area for the guests to use! The owners are genuinely nice and friendly, not just polite.

My room was on the ground floor with the balcony opening to the front yard so no privacy there but it was still good to hang your clothes outside after a swim.

Decent value for money

The location was pretty good. The hosts were also very kind. The size of the room was great. The balcony of my room was the best part of my stay. The view from it was lovely and sitting there in the morning/evening was very pleasant.

The bathroom was a bit of a disaster. It was outside of the room, so it technically wasn't exactly private. It was also not very clean. The worst part was the shower. I had to take all of my showers with either icy cold or boiling hot water. There was no in-between. And even then the water pressure was terrible. On some days only a few drops were coming out of the shower. The room itself would get very hot after 10 am and remain like this till ~5pm. There was no AC.

Owner speaks good English, you can ask the information that you needed. You got everything in the room, it's clean and cozy! Even has a TV in the room, so it's very worth the money.

Great family owned place to stay

Great family owned place to stay. Family is very kind and welcoming. Laundry was available. Room was clean and spacious. Was provided a heater. Good location, about 15 min walk to beach. One Bus company stop to/from Skopje was a few mins away.

No toiletries for the shower. Thin walls, can hear everything outside. Nobody to check me in when I arrived, walked in on my own. Available kitchen was relatively basic.

Fabulous friendly helpful host and he sure is, like another reviewer mentioned, calm like Ohrid itself. Big balcony with view of both city and mountains, comfy bed, functioning bath room. Walking distance from just about everywhere (Ohrid is quite small so no matter where you stay everything is within walking distance).

Great accommodation with a great host

Great property with a great host. Slaven and his family makes me feel like home. I had also a parking for my motorcycle. Very important for me. Value for money accommodation. The location is very quiet and the lake of Ohrid is 900 meters far away on foot.

The room was large, clean, and had a fridge.

Booking.com advertises they accept credit cards, but they want cash when you arrive. The place is difficult to find (even for taxi drivers ... the driver asked me for their phone number which I did not have with me.) It is not as close to the center as it appears on the map, since you have to weave through residential streets. The overall rating reflects the misrepresentation of payment, in addition to the negatives and no significant offsetting positives.
