Easy spot to reach by car through the upper gate of the old town. Private parking right by the door of Villa Kale. A fabulous room with a balcony and so much light. Views of the lake and the fortress. Comfy bed, sofa and chair. Great to have the kettle and fridge in the room, I could make tea! There's a mini market around the corner.
The hotel is on a hill. There are many steps - but the steps make Ohrid what it is - and it's worth it for the views. And of course our host, Ljupco, was great. Friendly, hospitable and kind. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about everything to see and do in Loutro. (The picture is the view from our room)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people we have ever met – he truly went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and at home from the very first moment. His hospitality made a huge difference and created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The accommodation itself is excellent: spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The apartment is bright and cozy, with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. What really takes your breath away is the stunning view over Lake Ohrid – waking up and enjoying that scenery every day was simply magical.
The location couldn’t be better: just a 5-minute walk to the beach and to the Old City, which makes it super convenient whether you want to relax by the water or explore the town’s charm. It’s peaceful yet central, giving you the best of both worlds.
We are beyond happy with our experience and can’t recommend this place enough. Without a doubt, we will be coming back again!
