Excellent Value near Waterfront

Cannot beat this property for location - step out the front door and you are basically right in the midst of the waterfront. The host was extremely communicative and the shower water was hot. Great little kitchenette - appreciate the hot kettle.

Just know that the street is very close so if you are staying there on a weekend, you may hear street noise until the early hours. Ear plugs help:)

Decent stay for the money.

It’s very central. You step outside the apartment and you’re in the central part of Ohrid.

The room wasn’t comfortable, the pillows were lumpy and hard, the cover looked not that fresh

Comfortable, convinient and affordable acomodation in the Old Town of Ohrid.

The accommodation is in the old town but also very close to the port and to the center of the city. The location is quiet. Inside the yard of the house there is an actual ancient tower, which is called the lower gate of the old town. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. He found a free parking near the house for me, on the biggest holiday in Ohrid, that is called Bogojavlenje, which is an mission impossible, because the main manifestation happens on the port which is 50 meters distance from the house and there are thousands of people attending.

Ohrid is very very cold in the winter, however the room was warm. The heater takes some time to raise the temperature, but once it heats up the room, you can comfortable walk around half naked... generally there were no negative things that I can think of.

Great quiet location. Clean, comfortable beds. Nice small seating area outside. Host were incredibly helpful. They made us feel like we stayed at friend's place. Very good value for the money overall. It's not the newest place, but that didn't bother us at all. It's very quiet considering you are in the heart of Old Town. Would definitely come back.

Very loud all the time!! There is a large tour groups stop every 5 mins in front of the room and it's annoying and extremely loud ! All day starting at 7 am ..not for tourist catered to only for local . older man working there rude and I think creep. Extremely rude to you if you are a tourist . I felt very uneasy . The patio is shared with people that smoke and it goes in the room. so it's no privacy the window everyone can see in

The patio is not private . Screaming babies and no privacy . The neighbor room is shared common out space and smoking goes into the room. I felt trapped I had to shut Windows . Also rude older man and kinda creepy ..or drink ? This is not for travelers only caters to locals .

Everything. Perfect location. Kosta was very kind and helpful, even called to check us on leaving if everything was fine and did we catch the bus. He gave us an upgraded room even we paid for double room. Definitely will stay again there next time.

the location was just perfect. adorable little patio to sit outside on that gets both sun and shade! the beds were super comfortable and the room had huge windows in case you needed ventilation (you could easily control the temp)! 10/10 overall

First he was so nice to us but then he wanted to charge us 10 euros and when we didnt pay it he blamed us to be turkish and he was like a rascist and we felt so sorry.

The host said you can put your luggage in the room he didnt say you can put your luggage in the luggage room after we said we'll come back for money and our luggage. Because when we arrived there for the first time he said you can leave your luggage and take them later tomorrow. We thought it's not problem for them time to take our luggage. And he knows that we rezervated the room for just one nigt. When we came back to pay and take our luggage he said you have to pay 10 euros for your luggage. And I tried to explain the situation and I said sorry but you didnt say we have to put our luggage in a luggage room not to charge more. For me he should have said it before we left the room. And we began to discuss and finally we didnt pay 10 euros more. While we were leaving he said you are the TURKISH PEOPLE like that always. He was like a rascist. We felt so broken. This country is full of turkish people who are tourist or citizens. I think every turkish person should know that he blamed us to be turkish and not to pay. If he had said that we had to pay for our luggage, of course we would not have put our luggage in the room, plus it was not the same room with the booking room.

Super vakantie!!

De ontvangst en gastvriendelijkheid van eigenaar Kosta was meer dan geweldig.Zelfs op mijn verjaardag tijdens onze vakantie werd ik verrast door een heerlijke lokale fles wijn die ik kreeg.We hadden probleem met matras maar werd keurig opgelost door een nieuw matras wat gelijk werd aangeschaft,super!Verder was het een uitstekende locatie op"kruip" aftstand naar de boulevard en bars en restaurants.Al met al helemaal top.

Eigenlijk niks.Alles was naar behoren,top!!

Ideale Lage, aber sonst…

Die Lage ist ideal - vor allem, wenn man mit dem Rucksack auf dem Boot von Sveti Naum ankommt. Und Ohrid an sich ist wunderschön!

Wie schon beschrieben, sind die Zimmer unten muffig, klamm und dunkel - ich habe mich dort nicht wohl gefühlt. Obwohl meine Ankunft am Nachmittag besprochen war, musste ich fast eine Stunde warten, bis ich den Schlüssel zum Raum bekam…

Her şeyden önce evin sahibi Costa mükemmel bir insan. İnanılmaz cana yakın ve olağanüstü yardımsever. Gecenin bir yarısı bizimle birlikte otopark aramaya çıktı. Diğer taraftan evin konumu çok iyi. Çarşıya, eski çarşıya, eski şehire, limana yürüme mesafesinde. Şehrin ve eğlence yerlerinin göbeğinde olmasına rağmen inanılmaz sakin bir ev.

Şehir trafiğini bilmiyorsanız ulaşım biraz karmaşık. Kapının önüne kadar araç gitmiyor. Limandaki otoparka aracınızı park edip iki dakika yürümeniz gerekiyor. Onun haricinde ev biraz eski. Konfor meraklıları memnun kalmayabilir. Klima yok. Ama Ohri’nin havası serin olduğu için çok da elzem değil. Vantilatör yeterli oluyor
