Wonderful Friendly Accommodation in Ohrid

View of lake Ohrid and of the hill is wonderful. Our Host, Marija was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The accommodation is near some amazing bars and restaurants. It is also very well located to all thr amazing sites in Ohrid. The Villa is also beautifully old and rustic.

As the accommodation is very rustic, the shower rooms / toilets are very old and cramped with shower very basic... however our opinion was that this added to the charms. Also there are many steep and slippy steps when walking to and from the town. The accommodation is therefore not suitable for older or infirm vacationers.

Incredible views and garden

This place is perfect! Absolutely stunning views, gorgeous terrace/garden, cute cats, beautiful flowers, and the host is very kind. Very clean. Quick access to the beaches and the city centre, very conveniently located.

The mattress was not the most comfortable and there was no shampoo or shower gel provided, but that was alright. You need to climb some stairs to get to the house but that's alright, nothing too crazy, and that's why the views are so amazing.

Really lovely accommodation with gorgeous views over the lake. Good value for money, close to the old town and the description on Booking was very accurate. The host was really friendly and incredibly useful too!

Difficult to find, however, that's also down to my navigation skills! The shower wasn't particularly nice, but for such a low price, that's not really a huge issue.

Charming Location with Room for Improvement

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town, making it easy to explore everything on foot.The parking was convenient, and the view from the property was quite nice.The host was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience.

The cleanliness could be improved; a bit more attention to detail would make the stay more comfortable.The water in the shower was difficult to regulate, which made it challenging to use and no hot water in kitchen. The kettle was slightly dangerous as it didn’t stop boiling and didn’t switch off automatically once the water was boiled.The place could use more curtains for better privacy and light control.

Lovely stay at house Marija

Marija was very nice helped us very good. We had the big room with private balcony, its very romantic and beautiful. The bathroom is outdated, but that's part of the deal. The shower is on the wall next to toilet so that's something I've never seen before, but also part of the experience. The owner has some cats that are taken care off by Marija and she does a lovely job. She has her heart in the right place and that shows. Loved the kiwi tree in the balcony. Thank you for the lovely stay in your house. I didn't mind that you have to walk quite a steep walk but that's something to keep in mind. The theatre is very close and is definitely a hidden gem for this BnB. Would definitely recommend, for people who want basic and have a real Macedonia experience.

The bed was to small for me, but I've seen that the local population is not very tall so maybe that's just me. Iam 186cm and could not lay in the bed properly. The bed was also a bit hard. The walk up to the BnB was always a bit rough, but that's not the fault of Marija. Also they are very close to theater that was absolutely great. The bathroom is very old, and basic but I didn't mind. It's a place you need to love and be proud that you can enjoy this home.

Location - in the old town with a beautiful view, exactly as the photos show. The room was comfortable and had a fridge, a bathroom and a terrace. The owners were friendly, spoke good English and were very helpful.

Stunning view, charming building in a beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly as well! We enjoyed being close to the beaches, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

Домакините Мария и Ристе са много гостоприемни, човек се чувства като у дома си. Мястото е в подножието на Самуиловата крепост и на 5 минути от брега на езерото, по стълби. Гледката от двора е спираща дъха. Може цял ден да стоиш, защото растителността осигурява сянка. Домакините ни бяха осигурили паркомясто пред къщата.

Jeżeli planujesz czas w Ochrydzie spędzić aktywnie, to lokalizacja będzie znakomita. Blisko jest stąd do najważniejszych punktów. Do starego miasta wystarczy zejść schodkami. Dzięki temu jest Cicho. Do tego cudowna pani właścicielka, biegle mówi po angielsku, troszczy się, żeby pobyt był wygodny, a przy tym robi to z wyczuciem i nie narzuca się. Pokoje skromne ale w zupełności wystarczają

Jeżeli nie masz dużego bagażu warto jest rozważyć zaparkowanie w okolicy bramy wjazdowej i dojście na pieszo (ok 5 min). Parking tuż przy budynku jest ciasny (jak tu w starych miastach bywa) .

La chambre n’était pas très propre. Nous avons retrouvé pas mal de cheveux dans la douche et le lavabo. L’hôte entrait dans la chambre le soir pour déplacer nos affaires : elle ouvrait les fenêtres, déplaçait les serviettes (nous avons même retrouvé la trousse de toilette posée sur le frigo). Elle n’entrait pas pour changer ses propres affaires, mais uniquement pour bouger les nôtres. Pendant notre séjour, elle a même retiré notre tapis de bain. C’était vraiment désagréable.
