Sunset Lake hostel

Great place with a convenient location just outside the Old Town, but still within easy walking distance of everything. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the owner was very friendly. He even picked me up from the bus station and allowed me to check out a few hours late. Highly recommended!

Sound insulation and hot water should be improved.

Everything, the people the place and the vibe, by far the best hotel in my 5 year travel journey. Joko was like a brother taking care of everything and he really makes everyone feel like a part of the family. We were having the homemade Rajika almost every night and somehow someone will always bring the drinks and snacks and we were having a party almost every night. I had an issue coming to the hostel and when I told him he immediately agreed to pick me up from the border, which was super amazing 🤩 He is very good at Balkan history, you'll be expert when you listen to him couple of times. He also had free bicycles which you can take, highly recommended to a bicycle ride to the bay of bones. Hostel is in a great location super market right in front of the hotel and soo many cafes and food shops, you'll not have any problems here. He also has free towels which was super amazing. The bed was super comfy and the dorm was super good and spacious enough. Finding bathroom free can be challenging because it's only one at the second floor, I didn't have any problem, because I was waking up early.

- very nice and very helpful staff - good kitchen - a lot of space to be social - amazing location right on a street with a good supermarket and places to eat - great big lockers

- there are no curtains, but it is ok imo
