Hostel Bela

So I arrived late and there was no one at the reception,there was a number to contact them at the reception,I made contact and they told me what room to go to,next morning a gentleman came to make me a really nice cooked breakfast and then off he went to work,same again the next day,I had the run of the hostel to my self,the heater in the room made it lovely and warm,I give the hostel 11/10 I will stay next time I am in ohrid

Bela Fechamos o Hostel Bella literalmente em cima da hora, porque ainda não sabíamos se seguiríamos mesmo para Ohrid, e foi uma grata surpresa. Ótimo custo-benefício, especialmente para quem está de passagem, como foi o nosso caso. O hostel fica a cerca de 15 minutos de caminhada até o centro. O percurso é bem tranquilo, plano e super seguro. Caminhamos inclusive à noite e nos sentimos totalmente seguros. Para mulheres viajando sozinhas, achamos a região bem tranquila também. O dono do hostel é extremamente simpático e solícito, tirou todas as nossas dúvidas e ainda nos indicou um restaurante típico no centro, com comida local muito boa e preço justo. A dica foi certeira. O café da manhã é simples, mas atende bem para um hostel. Tinha ovos fritos, presunto, pão, café ou chá. Para começar o dia, funcionou perfeitamente para a gente. O quarto e o banheiro contam com sistema de aquecimento, o que fez toda a diferença no frio. Se avisar antes, ele já deixa o quarto aquecido na sua chegada, um ponto bem positivo. O chuveiro é ótimo, com água bem quente. O único ponto que poderia melhorar é a falta de um box ou alguma divisão no banheiro, porque o banho acaba molhando tudo. Não chega a ser um problema grave, mas seria um ajuste bem-vindo. No geral, foi uma boa hospedagem em Ohrid, simples, confortável, bem localizada e com atendimento acolhedor. Para quem está de passagem, como nós, atendeu muito bem.

I didn’t hate staying here, but I didn’t love it. There is no staff on property, nor is there a security door to the hostel. The front door was open all night long even though it’s in a busy urban area. I didn’t feel safe staying here, especially entering at night. I was the only guest at the property at the time. I’m sure it’s a safe city, but it’s a city. I left some items on the balcony (could still see them from the street when I went back the next day), but the manager never got back to me. Would’ve taken two seconds to grab the items next time they were in the building.😕 Facilities are comparable to what you are paying for. The staff was smoking inside the dining area while I was eating. Everyone does it here in Macedonia, but still, it’s a choice.
