Gave a 6, got contacted by the owner to argue. Would not recommend.

The staff (at first) The neighbourhood is peaceful

Hygiene was bad - Bed sheets and pillow cases smelled like unwashed, fridge had something sticky spilled on it Safety hazards - the lightbulb in the shower was plugged in an electricity socket less than a meter from the shower, the doors wouldn't close unless locked. Rude staff - it was OK there, once I gave a 6 (Pleasant) review, I was contacted by the owner to argue and call names.

It was in a good location; close to the lively square, the lake and the old city. It also had a functional communal kitchen and the assigned room had air conditioning which is important during the Macedonian summer.

The guest house is located very near the city centre. Mikto is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone. I am travelling alone and the place is super safe. Clean and nice.
