Stunning, relaxing hotel to stay at during your visit to Ohrid

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great facilities, loved the scenic walk into the town by the lake, useful parking and nice clean room ! Hotel not big in capacity so has a wonderful boutique feel.

The perfect place to stay in Ohrid

Everything was perfect! I have to highlight to staff members and the manager, they were always so nice and helpful. Our room was perfect, I have zero complaint about it, the beds were comfy, and we loved the balcony. The pool was a little bit cold but at the time of our travel but there were many deckchairs , so we could sun bathe. Honestly we loved the variety of the breakfast selection, everyone can find something the would like. Overall, we loved everything and we'll definitely come back to the city and choose this hotel again.

The room was nice, modern and clean and the pool was amazing . Close by the beach, drive to town Centre was 10 min. Staff was wonderful and helpful and the breakfast had wide selection.

A little gem in Ohrid.

Villa Kotlar was a fantastic find - everything about my stay was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Breakfast each morning was slightly plentiful and slightly varied. The staff were absolutely fantastic, really friendly and would go above and beyond. I really liked the location, slightly away from the main tourist centre. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

great place to stay for a few days virsiting the old town, the lake and chilling by a great pool.

great room with a balcony and view of the lake although it would have been nice to have had a table to sit at. the pool is fantastic - really good size and plenty of sunbeams, chairs and umbrellas to relax. very good buffet breakfast with a reasonable amount of choices. beach very close for an early morning swim. very nice and friendly owners.

one member of staff was a bit miseable !!! the walk to the old town was stunning around the headland but quite long and this might not be suitable for more elderly.

The accomodation was very clean and spaceus. Villa owner is very pleasant and kind, he recommeded us some places which are worth visiting. Very good breakfast with pool in backyard. 10-15 min walking distance to city center. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay

We stayed here for 3 nights and really liked here, can definitely recommend it. The bed was very comfortable, it was very clean, breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care. One night someone in a neighboring room was smoking and the smoke was coming into our room. I sent a message to the manager/owner (?) and they immediately took care of it, even though it was later in the evening. The restaurants are more into town, but it’s a super easy walk to get there. If it happens to be raining, they even provide an umbrella. The balcony was really nice, as were the chairs by the pool. The location is close to the lake.

Excellent - from friendly staff to perfect facilities. We have just travelled from Albania, where everything was complicated, here everything is relaxed and well, just lovely. The rooms are a good size too, beds super comfy and lovely breakfast too 😀

I strongly recommend Villa Kotlar!

The stuff very professinal and kind with many helpful advices on what to visit. The hotel very clean, everything is new and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits and vegetables, different menu each day. Tremendous pool and causy pool area with the bar. It is very quiet, excellent place for a repose.

Walking distance to the center around 15-20 minutes. On the other hand, the surrounding is very quiet in contrast to location in the center.

One of the best in town.

The hotel is located close to the lake shore and city centre, 15 mins walking to the harbour, the building and facility are brand new, the room is quite spacious and very quiet at night, the swimming pool and garden are fascinating, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I have very nice stay there.

The large bed is made up with 2 small beds with a gap in between, which makes us not very comfortable.
