Exceptional stay – highly recommended!

This villa is a true gem. It is located deep inside the block, which makes it incredibly quiet and peaceful, yet at the same time it is just a short walk from the lake and the city center. Restaurants, cafés, and shops are all nearby, so everything you need is within easy reach. The villa itself was spotlessly clean, very cozy, and felt like a home away from home. You can really feel the care and attention put into every detail. The host deserves a special mention — her hospitality was absolutely outstanding, beyond words. She personally walked us around the neighborhood, showed us the area, and explained where to go and what to see. This personal touch made our stay truly special and unforgettable. We would happily stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay in a perfect location.

Good Hotel Area , Too hot room, Comfortable beds

Hotel area is very good. Our room owner Elena lives at the building so can contact her immideately if you have any problems. You dont need to ask little things. There is a common area which is mini desk which you can take extra toilet paper, shampoo, hair dryer, trash bag. Air conditioning has a sleeping mode but a little too near to one of the bed.

At least 3 nights booking is expected but there is no washing machine in the room or common area. Worst shampoo ever. Use your own shampoo or buy at nearby market. You should open the door to create an air circulation. Room is getting too hot and if you have a companion which doesnt like air conditioning machines it would be a problem. --> these are things which is ok but can be improved: Extra 2 glasses whould be better. There is only 2 cup pof tea glasses for drinking something. There is only salt and black pepper for you to use. We bought margarine to make an omlette, used regular spoon. It would be better if there is a little olive oil and a wooden or plastic spoon to make an omlette. If we asked maybe Elena would give it but like salt and pepper it may be in the kitchen when you checked in.

Felt very welcome from start to end

Elena was one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met, she made us feel very welcome and it was always nice talking to her. The accommodation offered us everything we needed, and the air conditioning was also really appreciated in the hot summer. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was verg clean and nice too. The location is also perfect to reach everything easily from there

Everything was amazing, I had a wonderful week here and felt right at home! Elena is a fabulous host and a truly warm and lovely person. I was unwell at one point and she was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect, quiet but nearby to everything. Wifi worked well and the room and balcony were comfortable with excellent AC and a kitchenette with all you need. The superb review score is well deserved!

The host was super helpful providing a lot of useful information about the country, city and other close sites worth of visiting. Fluent in English. The house is just a few hundred meters away from the Ohrid lake boulevard and about 1km from the old town but located in a very silent, almost traffic free street.

Much better than I expected. The accommodation is perfect clean, comfortable and spacious with amazing balcony, so you will feel as you are in fairy tale. Elena is an absolutely great women and friendly and accommodating host. All the best obout this accommodation and Elena.

Elena is a fantastic host, very nice, friendly and helpful. She really takes care of her guests. The apartment is in an high class residential area, you will see much more Mercedes and BMW then at home :-). Everything worked well inside the room. Two supermarkets are nearby. WiFi is very good. The surrounding is very silent.

Excellent Quiet Vacation !

Excellent and very quiet villa not far from the beach and the old city. The neighborhood is residential with many upscale villas. The nearest supermarkets are just 3-4 minutes away and the beach is 10 minutes away. The apartment is furnished with everything needed like cooking ware and utensils in case you need to cook something. The apartment is extremely clean and very fresh even in the warmest hours of the day but there is still air conditioning in case you need it. Wifi is very good in every part of the apartment and in case more entertainment is needed the TV has a lot of channels from all around the world. The owner Elena is one of the most wonderful hosts we have ever met. She warmly welcomes her guests with coffee and homemade desserts. She is very available and helpful for everything you may need during your stay. There are many booklets available in the room about any information you may need in Ohrid but Elena as an University Professor is able to explain everything better and more precisely. Overall one of the best experiences we've ever had during the last 15 years that we regularly visit Ohrid and we will definitely visit again next year.

The place is perfectly located whatever you need or do in Ohrid and I have to say - it’s super clean literally. This time I came alone and felt like home for 7 days. I should stay more or come again 😄 Elena is so wonderful host, she is kind and helpful, just contact her and don’t worry.

Smeštaj je bio u skladu sa našim potrebama i zahtevima.

Da pojasnim na početku recenzije. Objekat smo birali (supruga i ja) prema svojim potrebama a to je: da imamo bezbedan parking,dobar Wi-Fi, da nije daleko od jezera i centra i da je okolina ravna i mirna sa marketom u blizini. Sam objekat treba da je čist a od sadržaja dovoljno je da ima frižider,sopstveno uredno kupatilo,udoban krevet,terasu,tv...to smo i imali. Ovaj objekat, u pitanju je studio,imao je kuhinjicu i klimu ali ih nismo koristili. Aktivni smo i ne provodimo puno vremena u samom objektu. Naravno,važno je da je u okviru našeg budžeta. Ovaj smeštaj u sezoni košta 40e/dan a ja sam od Bookinga dobio popust 5e po danu. Nama je vila Afrodita ispunila očekivanja kao i sama vlasnica,Elena. Važno je da napomenem da vila nema sadržaje za decu, bazenčić, ljuljaške i sl. da je dvorište malo i neograđeno prema ulici. Ko namerava da sprema hranu,kuhinja je za manje zahteve. Do centralnog trga ima minimum 1km,ko ne može da pešači da ima u vidu.

Ne bih ovo formulisao kao nedostatak, nego više kao sugestiju, stavio bih bolju stonu lampu i komarnik na prozor.

Вила Афродита е прекрасно място за отмора в Охрид. Елена е много сърдечен домакин и създава чудесна атмосфера на гостоприемство. (И прави невероятен сладкиш с вишни :)) Стаите са безукорно чисти и много тихи. Къщата е разположена на пешеходно разстояние до езерото и стария град. Вила Афродита определено е едно от най-приятните места в Охрид, в които сме нощували.

Sve je bilo prelepo <3

Divna Elena vlasnica Vile je ime u koju se pretocilo sve lepo sto se moze pomenuti <3 Pa zato svaki sledeci nas odlazak ce biti "obavezan" u Vili Afrodita! Smestena je u mirnom delu Ohrida, nedaleko od centra i svuda se moze brzo i lako stici. Sve preporuke sa nase strane :) Srdacan pozdrav za nasu Elenu <3 Sladjana i Dejan .
