Lovely but could be even better

The cottage was lovely, great location and facilities we needed were all there

The cottage did have a mould/damp smell, but it is built into the town wall. The bedroom window wouldn’t open to try to clear the air. Really needs a dehumidifier in the cottage.

Beautiful property, brilliant location.

Excellent location right in the town walls of Caernarfon. It had everything needed to stay for the week we were there and it was well decorated and a comfortable space to be in.

The downside of the location is that on Saturday night it was very loud outside from the pubs of the area but every other night was silent.

Nothing to report, unfortunately. Upon completing a full payment and booking the property, I received a request for an additional £150 ‘house keeping bond’ to be payable directly to the property owner. There was mention of it in the original listing. I sent an email to this regard to the property and tried ti liaise with them via Booking.com to no avail. Upon arrival at my final destination, I received an email saying that the property refused to accommodate me. I had to find an alternative accommodation last minute. Booking.com has confirmed that a full refund is due.

Very homely and warm stay

Very stylish and well decorated and very clean. shower was very nice and hot and all things like oven and washing machine worked great. Options for warming up the flat were great. And the electric log burner was a plus!

On the weekend nights the music in the pub next door was fairly loud but did always turn off around 11:30pm. So didn’t disturb us too much. Kitchen tap ran cold when we wanted to wash the dishes. May need to be looked into. Maybe leave a welcome sheet with details on how to turn things on and the WiFi information too.

Good location

This is a pleasant cottage right in the centre of town. The facilities are very good and the property is spotless. it is good value.

This property is old and suffers from poor ventilation. It smells very musty and damp and there are many moisture collection pots all over the property. My clothes ended up smelling musty as a result. The owners need to address this issue.
