Some people might say dated but my partner and I looked it Ty Nian (grandmothers house in English) is lovely got an authentic homely feel about it Antique oldie feel to living room and bedrooms but very clean comfortable The kitchen has all the facilities and is more modern There are loads of utensils towels tee towels etc and loads of glasses too dish washer iron etc etc It couldn’t be more central in one of the oldest narrow street with castle/old town wall next to it The restaurants pubs bars and town Maes right outside your door Owners are very nice and helpful but keep their distance too not overpowering Oh and the run and excellent laundry service in the town too Really love Caernarfon it should be overrun with tourists and gentrified beyond recognition like parts of Devon and Cornwall Thankfully it’s not it’s absolutely stunning but very welsh real and authentic too. The surrounding area is out of this world from Llanberis pass to Aberglasyn pass to Anglesey which is just across the estuary is out of this world beautiful Highly recommend

Not much maybe new carpets in living room and stairs but they were clean and authentic

Excellent Location. Owner allowed us to leave luggage at her cafe a few hours before check in and let us in early when the cleaners had finished. Nice Welsh cakes and butter in welcome pack. Amazing amount of a house for the price. Apart from not having a washing machine, it had everything you needed and in abundance.

Instructions said needed £250 security deposit on arrival so had to get money out of bank but not asked for it on arrival. Also, instructions stated that they don't supply towels so had to go out and buy one but they were provided in the house. Perhaps check in instructions need updating?

A lovely home from home set just inside the ancient castle walls. And a lovely welcome pack of food-and flowers!

There was a little confusion going through the booking website to sort out when and how to collect the keys. Easily sorted by phoning the host direct.
