Had a great stay with my family

Great, central location to Caernarfon castle, harbour, restaurants and pubs. All within 10-15 mins walking distance Comfortable, warm and cosy. Well equipped.

Shower is as has been stated on the smaller side. Pre-warned about this so wasn’t a surprise and didn’t detract from my stay.

Basic base but fine, dont expect frills

Location was good

Window in the living room didnt close with vegetation growing through so was a cold visit. Made it more a simple base to just sleep and get out. Isn't a place you'd want to hang out at

Lovley modern flat, perfect base for exploring Snowdonia

Stayed here with my best friend and her two teenagers for three nights, and it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen is really well stocked with everything you could need for a stay, there were nice little touches like hand soap and toiletries etc. We really enjoyed playing the board games everyight! The beds were super comfy and everything was lovley and clean. We had a slight issue with the bathroom door stickinng, and Haydn came straight out to fix it. 10/10 for host points!

As with most other reviews, the only thing letting this accommodation down is the tiny shower. We're very average sized people and I was unable to wash my hair inside the shower properly, but I haven't taken that into consideration on my rating for the property as its a very minor thing in the big scheme of things. Also, blinds in the bedrooms might be an idea as the lights from the shop across the road shines in at night.

Very comfy beds. Good location, lots of shops, nice pubs and restaurants. Very useful parking permit for local car park. Good value for money, spacious and well equipped.

Excellent!

Great location and parking permit supplied for local car parks. Very quiet considering it is located in the middle of the town centre. Castle a very short walk away. Lovely modern apartment, well decorated and very clean. Everything you can possibly need supplied from TV & wifi, to bedding and towels, toiletries, fridge with small freezer, oven & hob, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery pots and pans, tea & coffee and lots more! Would definitely recommend!

This apartment was very centrally located and very stylishly decorated, modern and homely. Amazing having the parking permit which we used in a Llanberis and could have been used in many more local towns if we were on a longer trip.

Late night partying passers by were noisy, windows needs a clean and the main bed wasn’t comfortable for me, but that is individual. Host very receptive about these issues.

Good Location, nice interior, good rooms. Shower is quite small - as mentioned beforehand - but for us it was absolutely okay :)

Kitchen equipment okay but a bit used. A broom in the flat would be helpful. So, nothing really that we didn't like :)

A great base for exploring the National Park

This was an ideal location for exploring the national park by public transport - the apartment was close to the bus station and near the lovely old town and restaurants in Caernarfon. The apartment itself was comfortable and quite spacious for our small family and we managed to cook a meal in the little kitchen.

Better mattresses on the beds would be great! The shower was also very small - which we knew about before we stayed so were expecting it! But my 6'5" husband just about managed a shower so it wasn't that bad!

Really great holiday flat in a great location for exploring.

The property was modern and very clean. Heating was also very good and facilities in the flat were very good. liked the fact that towels and toiletries were included. The flat was in a great location for exploring Caernarfon and the surrounding areas. Free parking permit was also very handy and took the stress out of having to find overnight parking.

the flat was pretty Central, so you did hear some traffic noise and people returning back from nights out.

Great weekend with family in a cosy environment.

location is great, well furnished, well equipped and toasty warm.

It was a little noisy as people leave the pubs but you can’t be in the centre of town and not expect that.

couldn’t be in a better location, about five minutes walk to the castle and right in the centre of town, in close proximity to many cafes and restaurants. be aware though the entrance to the apartment is via a very narrow and steep staircase, we found it very hard to negotiate this with two large suitcases. well equiped kitchen. the apartment has adequate heating.

the information supplied pre arrival states there is a council car park pass that allows you to park in any council car park within the Carnarvon area. this is not the case, refer to the information pack supplied within the apartment. it nominates just a few of the carparks that allow free parking with the pass. unfortunately we went with the information in the booking confirmation and we received a parking fine, it cost us £25. we found the apartment difficult to locate owing to very narrow and one way streets.

Cute and convenient!

The location was absolutely amazing - as mentioned in the description, it is literally on the High Street. We came to climb Snowdon via the Ranger path and it was not far from this start point at all, about 15 minutes away so we were delighted when we got up early to climb! The host seemed really nice and the property was cute.

The shower was extremely small, washing your hair was a real mission. Could have also done with some basics such as olive oil so we could cook at home.

The perfect holiday destination!

Our stay at the High St. Hideout completely exceeded our expectations. Haydn went above and beyond and organised with my boyfriend to have the apartment decorated for my birthday which was such an amazing surprise! The accommodation was absolutely lovely, had everything you need and the location was perfect. Caernarfon was gorgeous and we were about 20 minutes from Zip World and Snowdon so it was the perfect holiday destination!

Superb location, very close to bars and restaurants. Couple of supermarkets within 5 minute walking distance. Great base for exploring North Wales and Snowdonia National Park. A parking permit is available for free parking in the multi story around the corner, also 30 minutes free parking just outside to unload car.

The shower is a little cosy but nothing is perfect.

Fantastic location, good sized apartment with decent kitchen facilities, parking permit really useful for parking in Caernarfon (1min walk to multi-storey), as well as other places nearby such as Llanberis

Shower was really small so bit of a struggle using that for someone tall, however we were advised of this upon booking

Lovely modern apartment fully equipped and in good location

Lovely modern apartment in excellent position. Very clean and well equipped. Car park permit provided is a bonus. Downside was no drawers or wardrobes in bedrooms but manageable for short break although host offered to bring a clothes rail around. Bathroom is small and shower is tiny very limited space. No good for any large people. All in all apartment was lovely and would stay again.

Just the small shower but it wouldn’t stop me from returning
