We liked everything about apartment. Especially location. It was perfect located in middle of city. We got all the kitchen appliances for cooking for our kids. I would recommend this apartment to other as well

Parking is hit and miss

The property was located in the centre of Caernarfon, very easy to get to, with nearby parking. It was secure and clean, with all the facilities we needed for our stay. Much of the town is within the original walls of the castle and is quite beautiful. Welsh is widely spoken by everyone, normally and naturally, as the first language of those living there. There are a lot of boarded-up properties outside the city walls and evidence of poverty, but the place is not threatening. Some of the visitors can be a little in your face, but I did not feel afraid in the town. Lots of eateries during the day, not so many at night.

The dishwasher was filled with stagnant water and did not appear to be working, so we washed by hand. I was told that there was no washing machine available, but I would strongly advise that one be installed, along with drying facilities, as not everyone will feel comfortable using a laundrette. At the time of our stay, North Wales was going through an intense heatwave, which meant that the flat and particularly the bedrooms were extremely hot and uncomfortable. The fans, whilst appreciated, did not resolve the issue, and I would respectfully suggest some form of air-conditioning, either with an external heat exchange or an internal one. This would have made our stay much more comfortable. With climate change, this type of weather will become more and more frequent. Somewhere with air-con will definitely be more attractive than somewhere without. Finally, and this is something the owners can do nothing about, but Friday and Saturday are rather rowdy and loud at the pub beside the property, so prospective visitors should be aware of this.
