A great place for a short break or longer holiday

This is an end-of-terrace town house that has been fully modernised and newly decorated. It's spacious and well equipped but, as with any town house, there are a lot of stairs! The well equipped kitchen area and main bathroom are excellent - the smaller bathroom a little cramped but it has an excellent shower. Bedrooms are large and have kingsize beds, although my aged back would have appreciated a thicker mattress. The hosts live locally, responded immediately and were extremely helpful when I couldn't fathom how to start the heating (which worked well once the gas boiler fired up). The location of the house is excellent - a very short walk to two supermarkets and only ten minutes to the Castle/Welsh Highland Railway/Town Centre.

Just an observation. Parking is on-street and therefore it's not always possible to park directly outside the house. But we always found a place and it wasn't a problem.

Great location Great price

This location is great! It’s just a 5-minute walk into the town of Caernarfon, and a 18-minute car journey to Snowdon. You’ll also find all sorts of attractions nearby, including a zip line Word Llandudno, Banger and Holyhead and Betws-y-Coed. The property was spacious enough for all of us and our gear, allowing us to do Snowdon on the Saturday and pack for every weather condition. A nice touch was the bottle of Prosecco and some Welsh cakes provided by the host. The heating system was great – a nest that was easy to use to control the temperature, even with eight people. It got a bit warm, but we could quickly change the temperature. Parking was also good; we managed to park all three cars outside the front of the house on the road.

if you were being super picky, there are a lot of steps to the bedrooms after climbing Snowdon, lol. 😂

A really lovely property to stay in and central to all amenities .

Property was very clean and tidy. The hosts even left a bottle of prosecco and some milk which was appreciated along with plenty of toiletries and cleaning products.

Definitely needs black out blinds/curtains in the bedrooms as the lights from outside made it feel like daylight all night long. Would also recommend chest of drawers in the bedrooms for clothes as no where to put them and also mirrors as us women need to put our make up on and do our hair.
